I have never been big on subtitles, but decided this book could use one, to convey that while the title and cover are similar to Columbine, Parkland has a very different focus. (Different time, different situation, different goal.)
I loved the simplicity of the cover, though, so I pitched an idea to my publisher: an inside subtitle, which will appear on the title page inside, and on book sites like Amazon and Barnes & Noble, but not on the cover. They loved it.
So it is now Parkland: Birth of a Movement.
And it's also available for pre-order, BTW. It's at all the major sites, and I've got direct links at my Parkland page.

t's really insightful how the subtitle evolved to better capture the essence of the Parkland mov planet clicker pro ement. The idea of an "inside subtitle" is a clever publishing strategy. Looking forward to reading the book.
The Parkland movement sparked important conversations about gun safety and student activism in America. this resource offers additional perspective on how movements shape public discourse.
Great analysis of how the subtitle evolution reflects the broader cultural shift around Parkland. The inside subtitle approach is a smart publishing decision. I found an excellent this tool for converting 2D images to 3D that I've been using to visualize book covers in different perspectives.
