Got my flu shot this weekend, and zero side effects. No brainer: the flu always knocks me on my heals for 3 weeks.
This is the best time of the year to get it for max retention through the season, which kicks off with Thanksgiving, so you want it at least 2 weeks before, so you great your family at full protection.
I got my covid shot at the doc's a few weeks ago, but wanted to wait just a tad for this. (That has backfired before though, when I wait and get busy . . . ) I usually shoot for Halloween. Close enough.

I'm also letting my hair run wild for the first time in a decade, or two. haha. Embracing the curls, that only start as it gets longer. I think I'll let it go for a while and see where it goes.
