Chào mừng bạn đến với diễn đàn này, Mai!

WOW! Im even more impressed now! Totally cool!  Grin I will need to figure how VNse font works in on this forum - doesnt work from my end for now...

Thank you all for your welcome! I promise to squeeze out some time to chat here.

And no, CellarDweller (sorry, I dont remember all the names just yet), I am not too worried about my 'chatting' Engl. It's my 'creative writing' English that I feel I need 'supervision' by at least one native speaker   Cool

"Resident' means to the forum or to a particular geographical place? Just curious...

Hello all,

Well, technically I am not entirely new - I registered last Sept or Oct, but never really found time to participate in discussions in this forum, didn't even explore all discussions here. I have only been watching the slash discussions & recommendations chain, read BBM fanfic on LJ and have written some myself. But yesterday, I clicked on some link at LJ /BBM Slash and found myself looking thought pictures of your gatherings, putting faces to some names I've heard before. Then browsed through some discussions here. In the end I just felt I had to introduce myself and leave a note here. If only to say that I am so impressed with this community, your friendship and your dedication to this love story -  WOW! that's how I feel  Grin

OK, about myself then: my name is Mai and I live in Vietnam. I work in investment industry and love reading, movies, traveling, esp as a pillion on motorbikes across countries.

As you might have figured, I'm a BBM adict, ever since I watched the movie the first time in Dec 2006. It has affected me quite a lot, changed my life in some ways... But then this topic is not for this chain, right? I will try to find time to post it in another discussion chain  Embarrassed  Sufice to say that I can't stop thinking about this story, the characters, their love... Maybe I never will... But that is OK  Smiley

My sister and my partner (who lives in England) know about my addiction and are accepting it... as part of me, I guess. They even beta-ed my story, my partner was very helpful, esp. for language screening (since English is not my native language). But that's about all who really know. I've told some friends that I write fanfic for BBM forums. They think that am weird. But then I am, I don't deny it - who isn't anyway??  Grin

I don't know if I will be able to be around here or join your discussions often, RL is a tad too time consuming. Nevertherless, I just want to say that I feel previlidged to be a 'member' of this awesome group of people, even if in name only.

Anyway, thank you for reading my rambling!!

Warmest greetings to you all!
Mai

A very warm welcome to the forum and welcome to posting, Mai!

What a nice post. Hope to see more of you around.

Looking forward to get to know you.
