Greetings fellow Brits. Sara, Jess and lil ol me have decided to meet up this coming Sunday to see the movie 'Weekend' at the Odeon, Covent Garden.

Yay, I am so glad they are still showing it so that you all finally manage to meet up and watch it!!!!

Can't wait to hear your opinions - hope you'll love it as much as I do (just saw it for the third time last night...  Embarrassed Roll Eyes Cheesy)

Have fun!! (well you'll have fun anyway, no matter if you like the movie or not... Cheesy)

Thank you Uli. We are really looking forward to it.

Perhaps we will be able to have another little gathering later in the year that more people will be able to attend.

Me! I'm always up for a gathering.

I'm sure your knee surgery goes well, Jess!

Let's see about the gathering - we have to plan at least something for the new year!

That would be great. There are still quite a few Brits out there that I haven't met. Another 'Eye' event maybe? It's such a great central activity and it was easy to meet up afterwards in a pub within walking distance of the river. Remember these folks?  Grin

I always wish I had come to that gathering, Andy. I am not sure if it was before I joined the forum, or before I knew anyone well enough to attend, but I do wish I had been there.

On my first trip out of Europe, I met Mike (fofol). I didn't really expect to ever visit the USA, it seemed an impossible dream.

Just shows the imagined power of Brokeback Mountain.

There are others there too you might want to see Fritz!

Just got around to watching this, quite spectacular indeed! Thanks again!
