Tom Brady leading the Patriots to a drubbing of Tim Tebow and the Broncos... so satisfying.

And I read that CBS aired a Focus on the Family add during the broadcast (featuring children reading a Biblical verse*), where their favorite son turned in a decidedly lackluster performance. Ha!

*One wonders how they would feel about an ad featuring children reciting, oh, a verse from the Koran. Are either appropriate for a football game?

yeah, it was good to see the Pats win that one.

But why did Brady punt the ball late in the fourth?  And is that what sparked the scuffle on the sidelines?

to paraphrase a quote on youtube: it's pretty bad when Brady's punt has a better spiral than Tebow's throw

Not sure yet.  I was crushed when the Saints lost last week -- sigh. Cry

I still can't decide for the Super Bowl!  After suffering through the Eagle's season, I want a winner -- any winner!!! Grin

Andy Reid went on TV/radio in an interview -- finally!! He's keeping Juan Castillo as Def coach, but he brought in another assistant coach with defensive experience to work with Juan.  Not much else is new.  Ho hum.

Out of solidarity with my niece's husband, I'm rooting for the Pats.

i'm actually looking forward to watching the game this weekend.  The SB is generally just a big production, more about glitz than game and I usually just check it once in a while, for the commericals, but this should be a great rematch and a chance for the Patriots to settle the score from 2008.

In one of the greatest upsets in sports history, the wild-card Giants (14–6) won 17–14 over the previously undefeated Patriots (18–1). In doing so, the Giants became the first NFC wild card team to win a Super Bowl.

I'm definitely going for New England to win.

Tom already has 3 rings, if they win Sunday, he'll only be the 3rd qb to have won 4 SBs, along with Terry Bradshaw and, my personal favorite, Joe Montana.
