Ain't that the truth!

By the way, I'll Have Another was purchased as a yearling for $11,000.

And Daddy Nose Best finished 10th.

I always wanted someone to name a horse "Comin Up on the Outside"
so an announcer might say at some point, "Comin Up the Outside comin
up on the outside."

I saw Diane Sawyer talking about this on ABC News last night:

Cole Hamels admits that he intentionally hit Bryce Harper with a pitch
By David Brown
Mon, May 7, 2012 (AP)

Quote
The pitch seemed to have a purpose when Cole Hamels hit Bryce Harper in the back with it during the first inning Sunday night. Later on, after the Philadelphia Phillies had beaten the Washington Nationals 9-3, Hamels admitted that it did. As quoted by reporter Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Hamels said:

"I was trying to hit him. I'm not going to deny it."

By admitting to hitting a player on purpose, Hamels probably faces a five-game suspension by Major League Baseball, the net result of which probably will be having a future start pushed back one day. So, no real penalty for him, aside from a small fine.

I think if MLB has penalties, they should be adjusted for pitchers because
they only play about once every five days.  So their penalties should really be
multiplied by 5.

OUCH!

Albert Pujols Will Wind Up Being Biggest Free-Agent Bust in History of Sports

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1183455

Dodger fans can have a little smirk at the Angel's expense.  Especially after
Fox Game of the Week hasn't even scheduled the MLB leading Dodgers until
way into June and the last place Angels have been on 5 times all ready.

Despite all that, whassup wd Albert?

Heh!  I think they did because they signed Albert Pujols and the Angels
did well last year so I think they thought they'd be a bigger draw, whereas
the Dodgers laanguished about and had ownership problems all last year.
In any case, when we play San Francisco it's good to see Buster Posey back,
but at first base he seems out of place.  At least he's playing though!

Preakness tomorrow. My choices, in front at the wire becasue I wan a Triple Crown this year,
I'll Have Another.
Then in no particular order
Bodemeister, Creative Cause and for obvious reasons, Teeth of the Dog.
11 entries, 6 ran in the Derby (finishing 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 10th and 11th) and 2 brothers... Dog and Tiger Walk, both sired by Bluegrass Cat.

I missed the Kentucky Derby, but am looking forward to the Preakness tomorrow.
Gotta look for the time, so I make sure I don't miss it.

I would love for there to be a Triple Crown winner this year.

33 years!
NBC coverage is from 4:30 to 6:30, so the race is probably about 6:10.
