Only in New Orleans!

This was my home parish in New Orleans up until 1963, Our Lady Star of the Sea. Back then we didn't quite celebrate like this.

So yesterday's wild card playoffs ended with the Texans and the Saints moving on.  Yay Saints!

And today Atlanta Falcons vs. New York Giants at noon (9am for lucky Linda on the west coast  Wink ) and then Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos, so another good football day.

Nancy, I actually missed it as I was busy around the house, but, from the score, I did not miss much anyway!  Tongue
NY 24 - Atlanta 3.

Well, here's where I part ways with the Saints - they're up against the 9ers next week at Candlestick.  I don't think SF can beat them, but I'll be cheering for them to do just that...and stranger things have happened, so you never know  Smiley  Will be a great game...

It will be a good game (I hope) Nancy! I am conflicted, but like you, think the Saints are too strong. Although if you remember correctly I totally figured SF would not get it together this year with Harbaugh. So what do I know?? Cheesy

The Broncos/ Steelers game is not much better. 20 - 6.
Roethlisberger has an ankle injury and CANNOT scramble at all and his team is not protecting him, so I guess this is the problem.

you and me both, Linda!  Who'd a thunk they'd be in the playoffs, after last years 8-8 record?  The Saints have everything clicking and they're all so talented...I mean, Drew Brees against Alex Smith?  Srsly no contest.  But I'm hoping the 9ers will give them a run for their money...
