Well the Cowboys finally scored.

Nancy, by now you know that the Eagles ended their last four games as winners.  However, none of the teams were worth much and the Eagles should have taken them easily.  Rumor is that Spagnoli will come on board as defensive coordinator with Juan out. No news on Reid. Lurie and Banner are no where to be seen at this point. I think Reid will return, but that's just me -- he still has 2 years on his contract.

-------------------

Now I can enjoy the Saints, Packers, Pats and Giants any two would make an interesting Super Bowl. What do y'all think.  Hey Fritz, my heart still belongs to the Saints!!

Happy New Year!!

Hey Nikki,
seems like most of the callers and the hosts on WIP think Reid will be back, and really want him back - but only for 1 more year.  If he can't do in 2012 they want him out.

For the Super Bowl, I'd love the see the 9ers and the Pats.  SF is 13 and 3, what a great comeback year for them.  And the Pats - well, who can deny Tom anything?  I know, corny...

But I definitely would not be upset if the Saints made it again.  They are a fun team to watch, so invested in their team and their town...it's great.

Nancy, the guys on the early morning show: Cataldi, Morganti et al were expecting to Lurie to fire Reid and Angelo was all for it.  However, after a rambling 13 minute interview yesterday, Lurie said Reid is staying.  Although Lurie opened his interview with words like'disappointing,' unfathomable.' and 'terrible' regarding the season, he he announced We owe as a franchise to Philadelphia the singular pursuit of winning a championship , and that's why I want Andy back.

Everyoone agrees that Reid will have to put up next year, and Lurie said they "would have to let the process play out."  Looks like the pressure will be on Reid big time!

Well, K-State really flopped last night, didn't even resemble the same team during the regular season! Arkansas came out ready to WIN!  Grin

since Reid only has another year left on his contract, it's a moot point...no way they'd give him another multi-year contract.

well, they can all relax and watch the winners play for the next few weeks...

can't wait to see the Saints game tonight!

So yesterday's wild card playoffs ended with the Texans and the Saints moving on.  Yay Saints!

And today Atlanta Falcons vs. New York Giants at noon (9am for lucky Linda on the west coast  Wink ) and then Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos, so another good football day.

Well, here's where I part ways with the Saints - they're up against the 9ers next week at Candlestick.  I don't think SF can beat them, but I'll be cheering for them to do just that...and stranger things have happened, so you never know  Smiley  Will be a great game...
