The British Museum has just launched a gay and lesbian themed web-trail through its collections (http://www.britishmuseum.org/explore/themes/same-sex_desire_and_gender/introduction.aspx). Nothing Brokeback in it, but the Museum did include a still from the film in its show about ancient sex and sexuality in 2006!

Thanks for the painting of the Blue Mountains where I have lived for the last 28 years and am now leaving. The view from my house is good but not so dramatic. The hills are more gentle at my elevation. However Trollope's description
"But to look down on a place which cannot be reached, – into a valley full of trees, through which a stream runs, a green, dark, crowded valley, – and to feel that you are debarred from reaching it by sheer descent of four or five hundred feet of cliff all round, is uncommon … I never saw before so vast a gaping hole on the earth’s surface."  --
is  a bit dated. I have climbed down those cliffs several times in my life (there are steel ladders) As I lay gasping on the ground after the last time, about 3 years ago, I declared "never again"  Smiley

Never realized before reading the website of the Cowboy Church that it is actually located in Alma, Texas.

Alma is just under south of Ennis.

That's it! These two inhabitants of the planet Kuwinda, though they are obliged by biology and tradition to copulate simultaneously with six others of all six sexes, find that they love each other exclusively and will only mate with each other....

Marsh-whorts are another name for Cranberries.  Hence, the Christmas food made from them would be cranberry sauce.
