I was so appalled at the story about the couple who's engagement picture was used for a Republican attack add. What a disgusting thing to do, stealing a personal image and using it for such a purpose.

Regarding the question yesterday.....who are the four Kings represented in a deck of playing cards....The King of Spades is said to be David, the ancient King of Israel; the king of Clubs is supposed to be Alexander the Great; the king of Hearts, the French King Charlemagne (some say Charles I); and the king of Diamonds is the Roman, Caesar Augustus.

On a side note, The king of hearts is sometimes called the "suicide king" because he appears to be sticking his sword into his head.

Damn!  When I saw on the daily sheet banner that Michelle Williams would be open to a DC reunion I thought DAVE CULLEN, not DAWSON'S CREEK!  I was thinking maybe she'd attend a forum reunion somewhere!

That was my first reaction too, Mark. Although I found it hard to believe.

Good thing Dave moved to New York. Very convenient for the news shows that want him on when there's another mass shooting.  Undecided

When I watched him on those, he looked older than I remembered. Then I realized this forum's over six years old -- we've all gotten older.  Roll Eyes

"If There I  haven't Found It Yet" is not in fact Jake's stage debut, only his American one. In 2002 he performed very successfully in "This Is Our Youth", at the Garrick Theatre London. Here's part of a review from "The Guardian".

"As a result, the focus in Laurence Boswell's production is very much on the performances. Hayden Christensen, looking like a taller Martin Amis, exhibits a fine rangy sulkiness as Dennis. Jake Gyllenhaal as Warren is naturally comic and engagingly defenceless. And Anna Paquin as Jessica combines prim formality of speech with an argumentative sexual ardour. All three are highly talented, instantly beguiling young actors even if Lonergan's study of subsidised social rebels leaves you wanting more."

Yes it is that old and we all have gotten older. Cheesy
Plus the fact that he has gone none stop since Friday, with little sleep. He did a total of 16 news talk shows and radio shows on Monday alone, starting at 6 am.
