Awww... Sonja, honey!

 Kiss

Sorry, I'm not trying to rub salt in your wounds  Cheesy

Actually, one of my best friends did a school project on bees and honey production, and that's the only reason I knew the answer to that question.

If you eat it, it's food! That's the way I see it, and I'm sticking to it!

However, I'd be willing to share first prize with you, coz I'm very generous!    Cool

Where is first prize anyway?
I was expecting a red carpet and a brass band to celebrate the winner!

You are so sweet!  And I would definitely share my prize with you!

I was given an alloted budget for prizes, so you'll just have to tough it out.

oh, on a side note, I'm in  Boston for the AIDS Walk  this weekend, it may delay the next TDS by a day.

Well, along with about half of all defendants in criminal trials; but never let a chance go by to demonize a Democratic POTUS.

Hummingbird?

Hummingbirds for sure!   Just tonight I was watching several of them at one of my feeders,  and they were flying in circles, forwards, backwards, up, down.....and I love how they can just hover in the same spot.  Many times, a group of them will fight over the feeder, and I have even seen them fly upside down!

And they've got such relatively weak legs that they fly from one perch to another, even one less than an inch down a branch or feeder device. They can grip with their feet, of course, but lateral motion other than flying is impossible for them.

I know the answer to the new question, because I did research on the topic while writing one of my stories!

It's Gay Related Immune Deficiency, I think. Which is totally messed up because it doesn't just affect gay people Roll Eyes In the movie Forrest Gump, the character Jenny dies of what is widely believed to have been AIDS, and it was about that time.

Dear Friends of Out West:

This coming Saturday, on June 23rd at 2:00 PM, I will present my workshop, “On Staging LGBT History: Laramie, Brokeback & ‘8’”in the West Hollywood Library Community Room. This will be my third Out West program for One City One Pride. www.weho.org/pride

Staging public testimony is an effective, efficient, and dramatic way to tell a story and preserve LGBT oral history. A brief lecture on how the documentary play is developed will be followed by Diversity Day, a staged reenactment—with audience participation— of recent Montana LGBT history which I adapted from an actual Missoula City Council Journal of Proceedings.

After Mayor John Engen of Missoula declared April 12, 2010 “Diversity Day”, six hours of powerful public testimony was heard prior to a Missoula City Council vote to add sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression to the city’s existing antidiscrimination ordinance – a first in Montana state history.

Footage of the original hearing will be screened as 45 minutes of redacted testimony is read by volunteers from the audience. The Missoula City Council has blessed this project.

"Diversity Day" is an opportunity to meet the Montana LGBT community and their friends who I have gotten to know and come to love- through the courage and power of their own words.

Please join me, if only to read a short passage, as a shout-out to Missoula from WeHo. I would be so grateful.

Thank you.

Thanks for a great new TDS.

The answer to this weeks question, what European country first allowed full rights to same sex couples I believe is Denmark.
