Richchan- Your Christmas tree brought tears to my eyes.  That is one very special tree and I know your mom would have loved it.  Thank you for sharing with us.

I don't get that study.....

They were right in - what - 60% of the cases??

Yeah, big deal. If they'd plain guessed it woulda been 50%.

So why the fuss??

If someone were just guessing how would it be 50%?? It's not the same as flipping a coin.

You could guess and easily be wrong 90% of time.

50% is actually a pretty high rate of accuracy.

Well, statistics is not one of my stronger capacities LOL,

but 50 or 60% still doesn't seem a lot to me.

They existed in our hearts, and always will.

There have been six: Connery, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan, Craig, and Lazenby. Also, David Niven starred in a sendup of Casino Royale.

Call me sentimental, but Sean is still the best.

Well, I was going to include David Niven and say seven.
I think I will stick with that.

The "OO' designates the agent has a "license to kill".  They are several "OO"s and others are mentioned in the books and short stories.
Maybe the films, too, I don't know.

Connery is my favorite , I suppose, though I think Daniel Craig does a fine job in the
re-start of the franchise in "Casino Royale".  He is also good in the second one, "Quantum of Solace", though the film itself ain't much.

I didn't start seeing the James Bond films until
Moore was in them, so I don't have a particular attachment
to any of them.  To me it just depends on the particular film.
The one I dislike the most is Pierce Brosnan.  The guy is a
real jerk and unless he's playing a jerk I cannot watch him.

One of my favorite James Bond moments is in Goldfinger
when the bomb is counting down and he's trying to stop it,
020...017...010...009...008...and it stops at 007!  Laugh out loud.
I remember on some Bond documentary it was said that it was
not written that way, while filming someone just had a light bulb
go off and said "Why don't we have it stop at 007!"  And everyone
smiled and was like, yes, do it!  Apparently in movie theatres it got
a huge laugh.

I agree.  The Connery films from 62-67 were the best.  He was so suave, not to mention just downright hot in looks!

I'm loving the Ocean to Outback paintings you're showing each week - this week's Sidney Nolan is wonderful.
