From everything I've read of Michelle's statements about Heath, his remarks about her, & their behavior together, as shown, for example in the video posted above, it is clear that they were true soul mates. It is unlikely that Michelle will ever find anyone that will be as significant to her as Heath was (pretty much in the same way that Ennis would not find another Jack; one is lucky to find one true soul mate in a lifetime), but she can have many friends, have a great deal of fun, continue her successful and meaningful career, raise Matilda & have a great life. She doesn't need "boyfriends", unless she wants one.
I'd venture to say that Heath will always have a special place in her heart & mind - it's most unfortunate that he can't actually be with her, but she can think of him & their time together ... always.

I'm sorry I'm so back and forth.  I said not to long ago that Michelle needs to let Heath go and then I run across something like this video and I can see why it's so hard for her.  I just hope she can find love again and be blissfully happy and her and Heath will meet again-someday.  When I read things where people say what did Heath see in her or Heath was too good for her it really upsets me because Heath chose her and he did love her and who are we to say who's too good for who?  The way Michelle has handled things and taken care of their daughter tells me Heath knew exactly what he was doing when he picked Michelle to love and be the mother of his child.  Thank God Matilda has her.

Heath may have been her soul mate, but he died when she was in her 20's..  I totally expect her to find someone, to fall in love and to have more children.   She wanted a big family and she wanted her children close together and now that can't happen.  Well at least not for Matilda.


I hope she marries this guy, if that is what she wants (him or whomever she chooses) and I hope she has 3 or 4 more children and lives to be 110 years old.

As he's now being referred to as 'Michelle Williams' boyfriend Jason Segel' I assume she's more famous than he is! As if he's only of interest cos he IS her boyfriend.

(he is to me, of course, cos I have no idea who he is!)

He has done all kinds of things and is well known.  They shouldn't be referring to him as Michelle's boyfriend he has a name.  I wish them lots of love and I hope they are very happy.

OMG Matilda is like a full grown little woman..  I like the second pic, they are both smiling.  I don't think Michelle minds the paps as much as she use to..

Although both have yet to publicly address talk of a hookup, their paths will be crossing soon, albeit tangentially: Both stars are set to promote films at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, which kicks off this Wednesday. (Segel will be stomping for The Five-Year Engagement, while Williams will be hawking Take This Waltz.)
