The story has a blurb on the FRONT PAGE of www.rogerebert.com and the full story can be found at http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060309/SCANNERS/60309006

Thank you Jim Emerson!
And note the AWESOME headline: "Brokeback Fans Offer Love, Not Hate"

He's also written a new companion article about BBM's loss today that's quite good called "Upset at the Gay Superbowl".

Not sure if others have done this, but I sent the press release to the Drudge Report.  Drudge has been covering Brokeback for a while now and if he somehow includes this piece he'll reach a pretty big (and conservative) audeince as well as of course most of the media who read Drudge regularly.

I just saw the ad and some of the media outlets that are running stories about our campaign. I'm so proud of all of us! Thanks to all the folks that made this ad a reality!

I am so touched by both of these articles. Really makes me happy. Thanks for posting them.

Just posted two articles over at the http://www.jakegyllenhaal.com forum.

Since the topic is now open, I'll post the press release also.

Sometimes being an official site can hamstring us a bit, we have to be so careful.

Thanks to "spokevin" for sending me updates.

Excellent work everyone!

The second one is particularly interesting I think - I'm talking about the two articles on www.rogerebert.com!

Does anyone have a link to the afterelton article or the radio interview Dave did in the UK this morning?

I started a thread about the ''Brokeback'' ad much earlier on Thursday at The Envelope's Oscar forum.

Sean Flynn is doing a brilliant job, making a case for ''Brokeback'' and fending off a fervent ''Crash'' fan.

Flynn's conclusion: '''Crash' did not win on its own merit. History will not be kind to it or the Academy.'' Bravo!

Is this the one you mean, Pete?

Now we know why Oscar is not anatomically correct.

Has anyone alerted Kevin at LAObserved.com?  His blog is widely read by most of the media in Los Angeles and California.

We should also send a note to Steve Harvey of the L.A. Times, who writes the section "Only in L.A".  Let's hit the Crashers where it really counts, ONLY in LA.
