Alright Tony, as a novice at this game, I may be totally wrong on this, but I think Willie made the absolute best decision about nominations.

However, I wonder why he did not discuss it with Frank beforehand, letting him know what he was going to do and why. I think that might have kept things smooth between them. As it is, now he'll have to explain after the fact and it is always harder to make things right then. The Hantzes have a problem with reasoning things through.

I am impressed with the way the mentors or whatever they're called are playing their game.

I agree, especially about Frank.  They have some serious physical competitions, and for Hanz to be safe there, Frank has to go.  In Nominations, sometimes the other person is a pawn. But, coming up will be Power of Veto comps, and if Frank wins, he can take himself off the block.
Incredible lying and secret alliances always emerge, and there's always someone who agrees to go up on the block, believing they are safe, and.....they are the target.  Britney's alliance did this to her.
Also, FWIW, Backdooring is expecting someone to get off by winning POV, and they are replaced by the real target who then has no recourse.

Each successive week produces escalating falseness.  That's why I keep a list of how each person voted on the live eviction vote.

zap2it has Frank as leaving early on. Of course, it also had JoJo as the first out and Jodi at the mid point. And THEY've watched the show a lot.

Uuuuuuuh! Just had an awful thought. Frank could win POV... and nominate Willie. Which would probably be the end of him.

Naw.  The winner of the POV can only get a friend or themself off the block.  The HOH can't be touched.  He's just stuck with nominating a replacement.  Sometimes that is the plan.  The replacement was the orginal target, and would then be defenseless against the majority's plot, as there would be no more ways out.

Those are opinions, not verified spoilers.  Please remember, unlike Survivor, the weekly live show is unpredictable, and the whole series is not pre-taped (hence the absolute seclusion from the outside world). Most of the show is real time.
What constitutes spoilers are sites that carry running feed from live stream (for those that haven't paid for it or just don't want to know).  I think it's $25, for personal livestream, and, myself, am not going so batty as to tune in, at any time, to see what they are up to.  I won't pass along any spoilers, but Joker's update is free and helps out those curious as to the gap between shows.
What you had was speculation just as occurs here.  They CAN'T know what has not happened.  And it's happening now.
If I do hear of violence or hot sex, I'll PM the mod to see if I could hint for what to hunt for on YouTube, that CBS won't show.  There is a massive cottage industry there for snatched livestream.

Don't worry about spoilers with me. I don't believe half the stuff I read here anyway. And since we're the only two watching... ah hem... should be no problem. And I know zap's summary was speculation. They ran down the whole cast and gave the odds of them ending up with the mil or half mil or whatever it is along with their reasons. When I said they watched the show, I meant they had experience and were better able to predict PROBABLE outcomes than someone like me who has only hit and missed it. You know, like us picking before the show starts our 4 favorites on Survivor based on their photos and summaries.

What does POV stand for?
And am I right that you can't be HOH twice in a row?

POV stands for Power of Veto. Competition is the two on the block, plus those they pick, and, sometimes, names out of a bag. The winner can take someone off the block.
You're right, the HOH is excluded from the next competition, which means they always have to factor in who might punch them back.

Catching up a bit. In reverse order:

One of my summer favorites returned last night, at least, on our local PBS station: History Detectives. They authenticated some Bob Dylan manuscripts and also the first electric guitar that Dylan played in public in 1965.

It really wasn't clear why Dylan or "his people" weren't involved. The only thing that was mentioned was that when the woman who has the guitar first tried to authenticate it, she got a letter from Dylan's lawyers asserting ownership of the guitar, but, apparently, they haven't been heard from since.  Of course, if they could have just gone to Dylan and asked him, "Do you recognize this guitar?" it wouldn't have been much of a show.  Undecided Anyway, the woman's late father was a pilot who had flown Dylan and other musicians (Peter, Paul, and Mary were mentiond) back in the '60s. The guitar was left on the plane after a trip Dylan made. The woman said that her father had always said that he contacted "Dylan's people" about returning the guitar, but nobody ever got back to him, so he just held onto it.

Meanwhile, last Friday night I ended up watching four hours of Antenna TV: Leave it to Beaver, Bachelor Father, Dennis the Menace, and The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show. Almost 50 years after her death, Gracie Allen is just as funny today, if you ask me.  Smiley
