I'm glad it tickled a few funny bones. I wonder why she isn't on our screens more - she's certainly worth her weight in entertainment gold. I love that Tucci is convinced the show won't air.

Btw, her 'sucking' story is told and recorded in one of London's gay pubs and given a different slant but just as funny.

A number of my puppy peeps have taken advantage of opportunities to visit tapings of Milan's show and without exception, came away totally disillusioned with him and his training methods.  MY objection to the few times I saw him... Oprah was one... is he edits to make his approach look easy and quick, anybody can do it. And it just is not the case. Plus I am not in the "make sure the dogs know you're the boss" theory of control. My dogs ALL understand I'm the alpha bitch around here and they are still allowed on the furniture, in the bed at night and I insist they pass through portals BEFORE I do. The trick to handling dogs (and a lot of people) is to be smarter than they are. Something I doubt about Milan.

I watch his show all the time and I have to say I like what I see.  Calm assertive energy, that's what he always says.. and exercise, discipline and affection..

It all makes sense to me.  I have no problem with dogs sitting on furniture, not diving all over it.   And I have never slept with my dog, I can hardly sleep with my husband. Tongue

Last night was Law and Order SVU James Van Der Beek (Dawson from Dawson's Creek) guest starred, he was creepy!

I wasn't sure how that show would fair after Chris Meloni left, but it is hanging in there fine..

He was very creepy! And there was Eric Close as the a**hole surgeon.

I made a point to watch Det. Benson's face closely, as all those people were dealing with "daddy issues" because, of course, she was conceived as a result of a rape.

I agree, the show is doing just fine without Chris Meloni. I'd go so far as to say it's been invigorated. I think Mariska Hargitay is really coming into her own.

But then again, don't go by me because I used to watch Cold Case just to drool over Danny Pino (now Det. Nick Amaro on L&O: SVU). ...  Roll Eyes

Perhaps you missed the part in my post that says he edits to make what he does look simple and easy. During taping he is NOT the 'calm assertive' energy he wants people to use. He is typical of the do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do mentality. And NOT someone I would trust one of my dogs with.

But don't take my word for it, ask his wife....

No I didn't miss that part, I saw it.  It will say on the show not to try some of it at home (what he does) and often he will sit with a dog and it looks like a  minute or two, but it will show at the bottom of the screen the actual time elapsed.

I think he is a calming person, a lot of households he goes into are chaotic, the animals don't know how to react.   He is calm but "assertive" I believe that is what dogs need.

We can agree to disagree on Mr. Ceaser.. Wink

You and me both!   Cheesy

Although if I had to chose I would pick Chris, I was a big fan of OZ!

Missing
I totally agree with Oilgun about this series. It is certainly better than 99% of other regular network dramas.

Touch
About the only thing on tv that can give Missing a run for its money! I love the way the kid's numbers tie all the storylines together every week.

Summer in Seattle -- I don't want Summer to go to Seattle.  I so wanted Kimball to
change his mind and call her back (I was going to say "run to her" as she was going
away, but I don't think he'd do that) in the train station.  Do you guys think she'll
come back, or was that it?

Grey's Anatomy last night.  It was good, they were all taking their final exam.  One didn't make it, I was afraid it was going to be Avery!

For The Mentalist, this would be a better sub-plot line than Red John, so am hoping so.

I don't know a single (or married) person who watches it and it seldom gets any mention on the tv sites I frequent. I gave it up years ago. I did hear... on the View, I think... that one of the lesbian couple is going to die. Always liked them.
