Agree with you all, I enjoyed the episode as well.

I must admit, however, that I was half-expecting the homophobic punk to turn out to be gay.  Roll Eyes

That crossed my mind as well, but in retrospect I'm glad they didn't. (Maybe a cliche of sorts now.)
I did like that the punk had no clue he was being a bully, evidenced by his line "What?" eveytime
his questioners grimanced at some of his statements.

And I am so loving the Summer-Cho plot line! I love Summer!  Grin  Something I caught in last night's episode: At the end of their scene together, when Summer brought Cho lunch, Tim Kang cracked a smile. It was just a little smile, and I think if you blinked you would have missed it, but I'm wondering whether it was intentional, or whether Tim actually broke character for just a teeny moment because the Summer-Cho scenes are so much fun!

I noticed that little smile, too.  To me I thought it evidence of Cho's real feelings behind his
"work facade" for this person.  He even said he'd be willing to relate to her on a different level
if she gave up her CI position, but she needs the money, so...  And I'm assuming CI stands for
criminal informant or something.  Civilian informant maybe...  In any case, I love the effect she
has on Cho.

Because I looked up the above photo I discovered that there's a stage production
of MAURICE in San Francisco, which I posted about in the Theatre thread HERE!

....I did love the entrance to the bathroom scene between Rigsby and Carla?

I must have the names mixed up.  I thought the lead drag was Brenda.  But am sure it was the same scene.  Would the detective go into the men's room with her?  He looked dubious, about that, and then did.
And then there was a follow-up scene, where she waved at him through an interview window, and he waved back, which caught Jane's attention.  And Rigsby (?) goes:  "Nice guy". Which left the viewer wondering, what provoked that approval rating, so suddenly  Cheesy ? Left Jane wondering, too.

I finally found the name. Glennda/Glenn. Yes that was exactly the scene, Tony!! Rigsby is the taller bulkier guy in the bathroom door scene. I went on TV.com which has a lot of information on all the series and some clips. I knew it had to be a name that you could get a derivative of a man's name as well for his day job at the mortuary.

Or "confidential."

I was prepped from reading the TV Guide article to watch and listen for the Wizard of Oz references, like the comment at the mortuary about looking behind the curtain, but the first thing I thought of when I heard the name Glenn/Glenda was, Isn't that an Ed Wood movie, Glenn or Glenda?  Grin

Of course, I'm sure the name was also supposed to evoke an association with the Good Witch of the North.  Smiley

FINALLY the big reveal on last night's The Firm. Or maybe it was the big rude awakening.
The wife admits out loud (to her friend and hubby's secretary) that 'these things don't just keep happening to Mitch. He goes out and looks for them.' ( Or words to that effect. )
It only took 10 years in witness protection and two extreme cases of fighting for their lives to persuade her of that... oh, and a little water boarding.

Another finally!
Back to regularly scheduled Sunday night programming and the last two episodes of Desparate Housewives before the series finale. They've got a ways to go to wrap up everyone's stories and to bring back all the previous characters. But I have no doubt it will get done and I'll be suitably impressed. This year has been right back on top as far as entertainment goes. Gonna miss them when they're gone!

A friend of mine gave me a book called TV GUIDE: THE FIRST 50 YEARS
and, although it doesn't have photos of ALL the 2500+ TV Guide covers
over the years, it does list  all of them.  So I looked up the covers that
were out the weeks both us were born and, to our amusement, they both
had gay men on the covers!

Mine (notice the article headline, lol!):
