Just to add I also loved Remington Steel and Moonlighting.   Another one I liked was Hart to Hart.  And Mac Millan and Wife as well.

Never got into Moonlighting because I react to Bruce Willis the same way I do to fingernails scraped on a chalkboard,  Undecided but Hart to Hart and MacMillan and Wife were good (I've always liked Susan Saint James).

Certainly I don't know you particular household's circumstances, but it seems like one of these
would cover the area you're in:

Tennessee
Chattanooga WFLI-TV MPS Media
Jackson WBBJ Bahakel Communications
Johnson City WJHL-TV Media General
Memphis WLMT Newport Television

What a hoot! You will go to any extreme to make a point. And guess what. Johnson City is just 30 miles away.

Now if I could just move the mountain out of the way....

That's great for people who get those stations.

Last night, I was speaking with a friend who lives on the Oly Penninsula. I asked her about the stations you mentioned. She has no cable available and uses an antenna. AND she says she gets those two channels plus a couple more "retro."
SOME times.
It depends on the weather but she and her hubby have never been able to figure out which weather allows them to watch those stations because there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to decent reception.

Talk about the deck being stacked by the producers...
if ONE coach wants IN the game, they're all in.
If it had been fair, it would have been a vote of the coaches and if that was a tie, the houseguests would have voted.
Fooey!

 BB: can't say anything as the West Coast hasn't seen the show.  On anything messy, though, it's easy to go to Jokers Updates/Big Brother the next day.

if you don't like the Olympics and don't get cable, you might just want to turn in early tonight.  This is what's on a 2 hour 20/20, hopefully a lot of that time is taken up by commercials:

Four unique billionaires share how they became successful;
getting free sperm from the Internet;
a family with three wives and 24 kids.

....Talk about the deck being stacked by the producers...
 It always is, with this show. When a houseguest helps ratings, they can talk to people in the Diary Room, and can also tailor competitions to a person's skills.  That's understood.  Everything else is chaos, and out of their control (like Willie Hanz).
 Am still restrained from posting much, since I do keep up with the live feed transcript (done by volunteers on the spoiler site).  But the entry of the coaches into the game will go far to restoring numbers and creating new dissension.
 Boogie is likely to be a target.  Good  Smiley.  Janelle, in her day, was a frequent winner in comps, but she's out of shape.  Dan plays by sizing things up, and rarely wins comps.  Britney almost never wins, but relies on Lucretia Borgia-like scheming, always sweetly done.
 That was a wild twist, Frank being Sid Vicious' son.  He and Shane are like two good 'ol boy scorpions in a jar.
Jen (or is it Jo-Jo?) is doing much for the image of lesbians.  Wil is, IMO, giving gays a bad name.

It's Jenn. I think Wil comes across just fine. He's not someone I would want to be around... but neither are any of the rest of them. I hope one of the competitions coming up soon inolve holding Joe down and scraping that crap off his face with a shoehorn. Boogie surprised me by NOT voting to join the competition. If the competitors... starting with Ian... don't get together to vote out the coaches 1-2-3-4... and stick with it... they deserve what they get. Or don't get. So far, I am not impressed. But I DO find myself looking forward to Sunday-Wednesday-Thursday. At least until the damned Olympics go back into hibernation.

  Am ever more looking forward to Downton Abbey, Grimm, and The Voice (admittedly, motley faves).  But what if they conflict?  Ack !!! Or a hurricane strikes and out goes the power for 3 weeks ? They are threatened by Murphy's Law.
 Well, there's always re-runs.

Tony, do you lie awake at night and think of things to worry about? They're not likely to conflick since they're not scheduled for the same nights. Plus each of them is repeated during the week and Grimm seems to run 3 repeat 2 all season long. Take a xanax, man.

Is there some rule about checking your brain at the door before you're allowed in the BB house? That stupid stupid girl... "We're in this together." Right, as long as you have more power than me... which will be for the next day or two... and then we'll see if who's in it together.

I am fast becoming a Boogie fan just because he is so open about how the game SHOULD be played. And have stopped liking Dan... basically FOR playing the game.
