Oh, that's right. I forgot FOX. There are always shows there that I watch. Also the CW. Well, so much for thinking this might be an easy Fall when it comes to choosing what to watch!

And I'm on eastern time. We don't have a 7-8 PM. Well, we do but it isn't primetime. I usually watch Judge Millan (I think it's The People's Court.) At least it's on. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy on another station. Don't know what else.

And I'm with Donna and April. You should join us on Survivor.

So, does your local news come on at 11 pm?

When I lived in Texas, prime time started at 7 pm and ended at 10 pm, with the local news coming on at 10 pm and late night starting at 10:30 pm.

Out here Prime time starts at 8 pm and ends at 11 pm, with the local news and late night starting at 11:30 pm.

Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy come on between 7-8 here.

One of those you-had-to-have-seen-it moments on CNN, this morning.  Soledad O'Brien has always seemed to me to be somewhat reptilian, with those occasionally threatening eyes.  But, this morning, she had to work, briefly, with her apparent double, Zaneida Somebody-or-other (I couldn't tell the difference).  Another Irish-Cuban woman, slashing her way to the top, same hair-do, same red dress. For a couple of seconds, Soledad froze, seeing her clone.  And for one second, I swear I saw her "I will eat you!" look.  It all went by very fast, but....they both belong on Grimm.

Yes, our primetime is 8-11. The whole eastern third of the country is like that. FOX has news starting at 10 so their primetime is just 2 hours a night.
Central time tv starts at 7 which is 8 my time so the shows for those two areas are broadcast just the once.
Don't know what happens with Mountain time... it must get a separate airing of all the shows.
Texas is divided between Central and Mountain
and the Pacific time zone primetime is the same as Eastern, just 3 hours later.

I think Elton John would have been a hell of a lot better for the closing song, voice wise and song wise than, Paul McCartney.

I kinda wondered why he wasn't included.

I am afraid I am a creature of habit and know what I like.

MONDAY
Antiques Roadshow PBS
Hawaii Five-0 (maybe)

TUESDAY
NCIS
NCIS: LA
Go On - NBC (will give it a look)

WEDNESDAY
Survivor
Criminal Minds (depends on the subject matter)
CSI (not sure why I stick with this as the actors I like aren't on the show anymore)

THURSDAY
Person of Interest
ELEMENTARY (going to try this one out)

FRIDAY
CSI: NY
MADE IN JERSEY (I'll give it a look)
Blue Bloods

That looks a lot like my schedule, but I will add The Big Bang Theory.  Cheesy

I'll be really REALLY glad when we get back to a regular tv schedule (before the holidays start!) It makes knowing what day of the week it is so much easier.

Amen to that!

That's the "Elementary" I am going to try Thursday nights at 9 pm.

I want to check that out, too. I like Jonny Lee Miller.

I'm afraid, though, that having the Watson character as a woman might add a whole different will they/won't they tension.  Undecided

Can't say too much, because am following Jokers Updates, and so am 1-2 days ahead.
Weepy-Whiney.  That could be Ashley or Danielle.  Ashley might not be the one you dislike, but, I sure as heck think she's as false as they come.  Not for game strategy.  She's just false.

I think it's Ashley. Sorry, but the women are pretty much all alike so far. I could tell Jenn and Jo-Jo.
Oops, just looked at my prestart notes and I'm probably talking about Danielle because the one who was crying last night is dark haired. There are only 3 women left? And I can't tell which is which... well, there's Jenn who is hard to miss. Do the women always just fade into the background and go along with whatever the men say?

The women are as aggressive as the men.  Long history of that.  This season, Britney and Janelle are very much in strategy play.

As far as I'm concerned... which isn't very... those two are mosquitos buzzing around the picnic. Neither of them impresses me at all, Britney even less than Janelle who doesn't seem to be taking part. The 3 female actual contestants are... blah. Not one of them has made any kind of move, even in private. Shane and Frank and Boogie (who is more an hunting hawk than a mosquito) are the ones doing everything. Ian is along for the ride. Wil is doing nothing but snarking and smirking as if HE has some big plan and Joe... well, Joe yuck.

[Shrugs.] I see it differently. It could be the same "tension" as in any male/female detective show pairing going back decades. To me that's different--and potentially more boring because it's so common--than what I hear of the "are they/aren't they gay" from the PBS version--which holds no interest for me. The only reason I'm interested in Elementary is because of Jonny Lee Miller.

I get what you're saying.

However, there is m/f tension and m/f tension. Going back a ways to Moonlighting and fast forwarding to The Mentalist.

Elementary could have had an even more difficult switch. SHE could be Sherlock....
