Two new primetime offerrings from FOX tonight, both dating shows to a certain degree.
Take Me Out or something like that has a panel of 30 women who listen to male contestants and decide if they are interested in going on a date with him. Somewhat similar to The Dating Game from way back when. Hosted by George Lopez.
The Choice has 4 "celebrity" bachelors sitting in the reversable chairs borrowed from The Voice. With their backs turned, they have to decide whether or not they are interested in a date with the woman on stage who entices them with comments about herself and what her ideal date would be like. Each bachelor chooses a "team" of 3 women and then narrows it down to just one with whom he is going to go out and report back the next week. Hosted by Kat Someone who I think was on So/Dance or some other show.
It beats the home shopping network.

you sure about that?

I just watched the rerun of the AGT episode with Tim Poe, paying especially close attention because of all the hoopla  about his story. I have to say... if the guy is lying, he is THE best actor I've ever seen. When they remake The King's Speech, he should replace Colin Firth.

Bubba, I've seen the news clips and the entertainment shows and I still say if the guy lied, he's the best actor I have EVER seen. Do I think he lied? I'm inclined that way. But I don't care. His talent may not be singing... it may be lying and acting. Either way, America's STILL got talent!

I care, I think he made a fool of everyone..  his family is actually getting death threats.  Howey Mandell said he is "angry" and he should be.

I mean he was a mediocre singer at best, so without his "story" he isn't going far anyway.   And no one is going to be voting for him!

Well, fool or not... and I readily admit his story was what made him better than average for me... I will vote for him. His story, true or false, touched me and I appreciate that.
I doubt he'll get to the audience participation part of the show since not one of the judges will vote him through in Vegas. IF he even shows up in Vegas. (Considering how overwhelmingly complementary all 3 jusges were about his voice and performance, they have to be a little embarrassed themselves.)
It is interesting, to me anyway, that his military medical records show an injury but don't go into detail.
Also interesting is that PTSD is affecting military personnel even if they have not been in a combat situation. And 50% of the 150-something RECORDED military suicides this year are by personnel that have not been in combat situations.

It was touching to everyone........but it was a total lie!  Even the photo he showed of himself in combat, wasn't him!

Tuesday night, one of the guys Bone served with in Afghanistan sent him a message on Facebook -- telling him the "AGT" segment  was must-see TV, so Bone finally checked it out online, and now, he's livid.

Bone, who currently serves in El Paso, TX,  tells TMZ, "First thing that came to my mind was 'Why would this lying son of a b---- do this, adding  "I'm absolutely furious. Been seeing red all day."

Bone says he's never even heard of Timothy Poe, and he's going to meet with the Army legal department to explore his options.

Anyway tonights show should be interesting.... Shocked

The show’s production company, Fremantle Media, issued an apology on Thursday for using the incorrect photograph during the audition episode. Judge Howard Stern tweeted that he was waiting to get the facts, but was “truly disgusted.”

These shows are all prerecorded.
You think they may make some kind of announcement at the beginning?
