Oh, joy.  There's an Adele concert tonight at 8 PM, and I admit, am so out of it, I don't know why she's all the fuss.  And so want to watch.  But that conflicts with Dogs in the City, which is the re-reun of the first episode, which I missed.  I don't mind if the guy is a jerk.  I wanna see the dogs !

I don't think the guy is a jerk, I liked the first episode - wait til you see Beefy!

The trainer is like Cesar Millan, but it seems more challenging because they're in NYC, no yards to let them out and run, etc.  But the basics are the same.  And the owners are the ones who really need to be trained...

As for Adele, she's a fine singer, but I'm long since past caring what celebrities have to say about anything...

Thanks for the preview !  As for the bolded part above, I got to that point, too.  Never was a fan club person, and now, I have little interest not only in what they say, but also what they do.  Sporadic exceptions, but that lasts for only a very few moments.

I'd watch the dog show, and listen to her for free on the net...

Great dogs, not so great owners.

Who said he was a jerk? I liked him. He's practical and not stupid, good traits in a man.

And lord love a duck, he's NOTHING like CM!

I'd recommend the NYC Guru to my puppy people except I'd hate for anyone to know I placed a pup with people as ignorant and/or delusional as  his clients on the first episodes. (Except for the Bernese Mountain Dog's people who were AOK.)

Gad, I'm having trouble with the comparison to shhhhhhh.

Yes, the man and his little girl were great.

The other woman and the couple did not have a lick of sense.
I wonder why Beefy's owner even got married and the woman who owned the biter should not have had a dog at all!

Dogs in the City was ok.  Beefy was cool.  Charlotte's problem, I think, is that her human doesn't really love her, and she knows it.  She looked very sad.  The third dog just needs Jamie Oliver  Smiley.
Caught several minutes of Adele. Great singer, and am so glad she hasn't dropped her East End accent (or whatever it is) in speech. She stays real.

Ok, maybe you weren't paying attention. The vet was very clear about the Bernie being well within the weight parameters for her breed. She was not overweight, just a big girl. The potential for unhealthy weight gain was there because she was allowed treats from strangers on the street... a bad idea from a poison point of view as well as obesity.

Beefy, on the other hand, COULD use a little less chow mein. I'm fascinated by all the skateboarding Bulldogs. They're everywhere!

Hey, they're rerunning another Grimm tonight - beats what else is on, and I'm still catching up.

America's Got Talent
Just the 5th (?) night of auditions and I have my hero, the act I am going to back come hell or high water.
Tim Poe. A soldier who was hit by a rocket gernade in Afghanistan, suffered a serious back injury... told he would never walk... and  brain trama. Well folks, he's walking. He speaks with a distinct stutter. And sings without it. He found out he could sing when his speech therapist told him to practice singing in the shower to help with his stammer. He may not be the best, but I don't care. He's not the worse.
Tim Poe.

Tomorrow night Love in the Wild starts again (after AGT.) It's an interesting reality competition. A group of strangers are paired up... man/woman teams... and have to overcome a series of obstacles and challenges. At the elimination, in the order the teams finished, they get to choose, individually, to stay together or pick a new partner. The first couple, if they decide to split, cannot be refused by whomever they choose to pair with for the next stage. After than, the invitee can say no and if that happens, the inviteR goes to a holding area, hoping to be chosen by someone else. The final guy and gal go home. Here's the thing, if you finish 2nd you can still go home if you don't choose someone who wants to be with you and then don't get chosen by someone who does. It was fun last year.

I said and I quote:

I have a good track record picking the winner of AGT... after the first one which almost made me never watch the show again. For me, THIS one isn't about the talent... it's about the story. I want this guy to win.

And having said that, the pole dancer should have gone through to Vegas. Worse acts have!
