Jack, I hope you did catch the start of the second season of Sherlock.  The UK has already seen all of them, I believe. But in case you missed it, there was more of the psychosexual.  In fact, I think they are all subliminally, bi-sexually, kinked out on each other (including Moriarty and Holmes).  But, they're British, so, we can't be completely sure  Smiley.
Next time, "The Hound of the Baskervilles", updated.

It's getting to be mammoth awful, all these FINAL TWO EPISODES, for so many shows, all saying, you gotta see this !!!!  I'll be glad when that's over.  Then I can pick and choose from the Olympics and re-runs, and not stress out.
Darn. I forgot. Big Brother, the most covertly watched show of all, will be starting, and I will again be addicted to ridiculous garbage that leaves me strangely aroused and satisfied  Tongue.  It may be this year that I pretend am not watching it, just like the 14 million others who have been doing that.  I know they won't have the return of the rowdy CBS forum.  They pulled the plug on that last summer.

I'm watching the finale of The Voice and frankly, I wasn't impressed with Jerome (Germaine?) Blake's contestant or the girl (Cee Lo's) but Chris and Christina are doing a duet that is beautiful... and I can't stand CA! Sorry, Tony, Chris is DA MAN!

How do you feel about Il Divo? Maybe that's the problem.

I liked Tony Luca. Good number, well done.

But THIS  hardly seems fair...
first Jerome sings, then the girl, then Chris and Christina, then Tony.
And now Chris has to sing HIS solo.
Why is there not another duet... to be fair it would be Blake and his guy, and then Cee Lo and the girl and THEN Chris again.

Don't care for Chris' song selection. Good delivery.

Hey, Doodler.  Am also watching The Voice, and it is rare for me to post during a show, but am really ticked off.

* There is the rump factor.  Those male performers who do have a reasonable rump show their inner soul and talent, by being aware of their rump.  Tony Lucca knows he has one, and uses it.  Chris Mann is more like a rump zombie.
* Christina has repeatedly showed a snide attitude towards Lucca, who was on the Mouseketeers with her and Justin Timberlake, but never had their later success.  She's been a real bitch with him, and tonight she insinuates that his song, "99 problems" is derogatory towards women.  Totally uncalled for.
* This woman (Christina) has completely lost any liking from me. Frankly, she needs an intervention. She is 50 lbs. overweight, has to wear dresses that cover up her.... [edited because it wasn't worth lowering my standards].  I love hefty women.  Tina Turner and Stevie Nicks are larger women, and convey sensuality.  But, a woman who proposes herself as still a star, and lets herself go to seed, and then....messes with an Italian with a beatified first name (Tony Lucca  Smiley ) is beyond my liking anymore.

p.s. Adam Levine will be interviewed by his mother (!) on The Insider, tomorrow, at 7:30 EST.

ETA: in addition to the above edit, also wanted to add, Aguilerra carried her spite to the closing credits.  As Tony Lucca was being discussed, she kept her face frozen, studying her fingernails. Also, Juliet did very, very well.

Sorry to disagree... well, not really... that girl is terrible. I didn't like either of her solos and her duet with Cee Lo (who looked like a chocolate Pillsbury Dough Boy in a black costume...) was so bad I got to switch over to Dancing/Stars and see William's delightful performance. (Loved Cheryl's dress and I usually don't notice those things!)

Jermaine's duet with Blake was fun. Good job for both of thm.

Tony Luca or Lucca was terrific with Adam but I didn't like his second solo as much as the first.

DID like Chris's.

And that is the way I'd place them... 4th to 1st. And I won't be terribly upset if Tony squeeks by Chris.

I've said all along that I don't like CA. Tonight changed nothing.

However, 50 pounds? I think not.

Trying to hang in there with Two and a Half Men, but the last two weeks were terrible.  I am a big fan of Kathy Bates and even she couldn't save last weeks episode.  And yet it continues to do well in the ratings, grabbing the top spot last week.   I don't get it.  I read it will be back for Season 10 though..

Re: The Voice : apparently what I had noticed about Christina Aguilera's feud with Tony Lucca was yet more serious.  It's trending on Yahoo, and, google her name and there are a variety of stories that she and Adam Levine had gotten into it at rehearsals.  RadarOnLine has her unidentified ( Tongue) spokesperson as saying Adam needs to go.
From what I saw, live, she needs to go.  She is the equivalent of the Colton guy on Survivor.

Even so, I don't mind who wins, tonight.  I'd prefer Tony or Juliet, but they are all talented.  But it's possible the apparent feud would cause Aguilera's supporters to vote heavily for her guy.

There are interesting stories on line about Adam pushing the song "99 problems" for Tony, to answer her really rotten treatment of him and Lucca. IMO, they're credible.

Any excuse to explain why Chris wins! Damn, Tony, I sat through all that crap with the first Dancing/Stars when everyone who didn't like Kelly Monoco made up shit about there being some kind of underground push from soap opera fans to ABC rigging the voting. I watched the soap she was on and no one ever contacted me about voting for her. I can't stand Aguilara and never could but I like Chris better than any other contestant even if she IS his coach. Levine has been on a couple talk shows recently and denied all the argument rumors. Maybe he was lying, maybe there is something to it. It would be impossible to put all those hyped up egos in a room and not have some dissention. The Voice is no less a popularity contest than Idol or Dancing/Stars or Big Brother. And even if CA IS pushing her fans to back Chris, why is it any different than Blake Shelton taking his previous top contender out with him on his gigs during the show[/g], drumming up votes for her?

You want to hear (read) something funny?
I'm not a 2-1/2M fan and never have been. Have watched several episodes in syndication (and one with AK) and while it doesn't rise to my apparently over inflated standards for a funny sitcom, I think it's better than most. The premise left a lot to be desired... the old Charlie Sheen premise, not sure what the new one is... but there were some nice zingers in every show I saw, particularly from the housekeeper.

I think when Charlie Sheen was on it, it was the funniest show on the air.  In my  opinion..  That is why I have tried to hang on.  To see Allen and Berta and Charlie and Allens Mom.   But it isn't the same.  Jake is annoying now as a teen.  And Allen is getting pathetic.  "Ashton" is easy on the eyes, that's about it.

Yes, Doods, you did call it first on Christina.  As for Levine, the alleged melt-down may have been more recent than the shows you saw. As in, the last 72 hours.

I don't know.  There are some reasons I have wondered about CA, and some remarks she made last season, but said to myself, nah. And I've wanted to like her.  Now, am just wondering, why should I care?  They might be playing all this to hype the ratings, and, if so, well, rolled again  Tongue.
As for Chris, I can see why you like him.  Actually, I like him, too.  But I think he's mangled 2 of my favorite songs, where he didn't have to.  Tony Lucca's "How do you like me now?" was what got me rooting for him.
Seriously, however it turns out, what may be interesting is the fan base for type of music, rather than who was best. Am de-investing rapidly.
