Looking forward to the last hour of it.
It's repeated several times during the week on different affiliated channels.

Desparate Housewives
They killed off my favorite character last night. Mike delFino was shot by the loan shark he beat the crap up the previous week. Now we've got to put up with Susan's weeping and wailing for the next 5 weeks. By then, I'll be glad the show is cancelled.

The show has had it's ups and downs, but this season has been great.

I love desperate housewives.  I will miss it after it goes off the air.     It hurt to see Mike shot and killed.    Cry

there is no such thing as a funny comedy on tv this year. Or last year. Or the one before that. Or.... I'd rather spend the time training my dust bunnies to twitch their noses.

You might have a lot of time to do that as here's a quote from a recent TV Guide
article:

The key trend this pilot season?  Laughs, laughs and more laughs.
There's going to be a whole lot of comedies on the schedule next
year, notes one exec.

I thought yoou'd be amused.

I don't usually get to see them when they air but we record three sitcoms that I think are pretty funny.

"Raising Hope".  Always funny, sometimes laugh out loud funny.

"The Middle"  funny, good acting, decent writing and the young woman who plays the "daughter" is an excellent actor.

"Modern Family".  I always find something funny.  Clever, even witty, scripts and top notch acting all around.

AGREE!  Like all three of these.

I have two friends who are really into COMMUNITY, but I haven't been
convinced to keep watching yet!

I would think that The Middle would be boycotted, after Patricia Heaton came out on Rush's side against Sandra Fluke (among other things)...oh well, I guess if you like the show, who cares what she thinks in real life...can't let your entertainment be affected by your convictions

Didn't she retrack that... untweet it or something?

There are actors I avoid like the plague because of their stands on some issue or other and others who have the same ideas but for some reason don't bother me.

Yeah I guess.
If I were to boycott the work of every actor who has said something stupid I'm afraid I would be rather starved for entertainment.
