I know Fox, the CW and the 2 PBS stations, but never know which shows are on AB/NBCBS. I say things like "The same station as NCIS" or "The one The Bachelor is on." I give directions the same way... "Turn right where the barn used to be."

People always seem to stop me on the street to ask for directions. I have no idea why. They must think I look like I know something, but I give directions like, "Go this way, and then turn that way."

Downton...
who didn't see ALL that coming?
But the Queen Mother had so many great lines last night, I didn't mind!
I'm back to thinking Lady Mary richly deserves everything her unwanted but useable even if he is an asinine prick fiance dishes out. Certainly the mousy, mildewed Mathew isn't off kilter enough for her. Thomas would be if he only had a title. But then it would be Thomas and Richard.

'White Collar's' Matt Bomer Officially Comes Out as Gay at Awards Show

The Hollywood Reporter

White Collar star Matt Bomer officially came out as gay on Saturday when he publicly thanked his partner Simon Halls and their three children while accepting an award.

The star of USA's hit series attended the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards this weekend, and received the New Generation Arts and Activism Award for his efforts in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

“I'd really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry," he said onstage. "Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment."

The Voice is the best singing competition ever!  It reminds me of Rockstar (which was very good)....could help that the band is the same (pretty much) as the band that played for Rockstar.  And they are bringing some talent back from Rockstar....Jordis Unga.  I hope she can win this time!

The voice is repeated several times during the week so I stuck with The Bachelor last night. I switched oer at commercials a couple times but either got the long drawn out picking process... tell me those guys don't know EXACTLY who they want as a coach before they compete... or other commercials. I wish anybody else... even Paula or Nicole (as if!) were on there instead of Blondie.

I watched Alcatraz for the first time last night and thought it was
pretty good.  What I didn't lke is how it was presented, I may not
be totally correct, but it seemed like 6 mins. of show then 3 mins.
of commercials all through the hour which was completely annoying.

The second episode of Smash didn't really compel me.  I feel like I'm
in a holding pattern with that show.  I have no interest at all in that
adopting a Chinese baby plot.  We find out it could take over two
years?  (They didn't know this going in?) We find out their son (who is
what, 19?) is upset when his father has reservations about it because
he (the son) has always been promised he'd have a baby brother?
What?  A 19 year old kid wants an infant brother?  Go get married!
Or adopt an American baby that won't take two years.  Or stop this
inane plot and stick to the Broadway world.  And then they have to
write a letter to the potential adoptive baby's fictional mother?  Huh?
Smash is turning into Crash.

Lol at the 19 y/o wanting a baby brother!  Is it still fashionable to adopt chinese kids?

thanks for this, it means i can keep watching stuff on amazon, and i'm missing absolutely nothing on tv...except too many commercials.

My cable company saved me from the Smash/Castle choice last night since it stopped braodcasting the channel The Voice/Smash are on about half way through The Voice. I watched Castle... the first of a two parter... and didn't miss Marilyn at all. Guess I'm not into Glee for any age group.

The River Chapter 2 is on at 9 tonight, Nancy.
