Now I don't know whether to set the VCR for SNL or "Mystery."  May have to sit up and watch one while the other tapes.

And while the morning show "The View" has never been my cup of tea, the presence of Rosie O'Donnell will have me checking in on it once or twice at least.  As the article here suggests, things could get testy: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,193668,00.html.   She doesn't suffer fools gladly.

"Family Guy" just aired a very good pro-gay marriage episode.  No doubt it will be re-run for those who miss it.

Sopranos episode, 5/30:  the very, very good.

But it has me worrying. Adrianna's death made me sad, but I got through it  (and even the squashing of her little dog, though dogs'll get me every time) sad but tearless.  Vito may be another matter.  Last night was a grand episode overall, but Vito especially gave me joy.  (Fat Vito is a gay mobster on the lam.)  Vito's been eyeing the cook's backside right along, but last night, when the cook proved to be a brave volunteer fireman as well, we got  Vito, falling in love. Have they ever shown somebody actually falling in love on this show before?  I wish so much he could get free of his old life, but his final lines in the episode really scare me: "Sometimes you tell lies so long you don't know when to stop.  Even when it's safe."

"Safe." Oh, dear!

Dynasty reunion show:  This NYT review - http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/02/arts/television/02stan.html?_r=1&oref=slogin - makes it sound like something to watch with horrified fascination.  On CBS, tonight. I hadn't realized that one of the characters was the first continuing gay on primetime tv.

(I tuned to BBCA's "Footballers Wives" the other day, and saw  women in a setting that reminded me of "Dynasty,"  all bright and glossy and Fabulously gowned and made up.   It's had some good comments on this board, but that one look was enough to keep me away, though I may be missing a new era of camp fun.)

Saturating "Deal or No Deal."  I like this game show and look forward to it every week, BUT.....NBC is milking it for all its worth by airing it 3 times this week.  This faux pas happened to "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire."  I advise to just keep this hit show on one night a week.  Too much of a good thing can have bad results.

ok watching tonight's desperate housewives, i was skeeved out.

I wanna know if i was alone.

The gay son, slept with his mothers former sex-addicted boyfriend. I'm sorry this really bothered me. I mean i know they try to continue to dig for new lows and one up eachother, but ugh. Atleast bree got rid of her selfish manipulative rather unsympathetic child. I prefered when he wasn't gay and just a troubled teen. i need to go scrub my eyes with soap.

i mean they kill people ruthlessly, never follow a plot point fo r longer then one episode. Have created never ending turmoil, but this just seemed like a line they shoul have left alone. it just really creeped me out. Sure he hates his mom enough, but what about his own self-respect. never mind his attractive and caring boyfriend. I don't think the children should be placed in an adult world. it just makes it ... nasty..and really ...creepy.

Ah-ha!  I think Bree's son has an ace card to play.  He will call his Mom and threaten to go the authorities since he is still a minor and Peter (an adult male) slept with him.
