Our Brokeback Mountain in Vermont has been mentioned in the forums here but since there is just so much to go through, I wanted to mention it again here because we really need your help.

In addition if there is anyone here that is good at making internet banners (468X60) with Photoshop or other program , we need someone to volunteer to create a couple for us.

We were hoping to have some with our green mountains in the background and wording to the effect of Brokeback Mountain Vermont and www.brokebackmountainvermont.com on them somewhere.

I got an acknowledgement today about one of the DVD's I donated, this one the librarian at Central Missouri State University.  Her message included some interesting news:

I received the DVD for Brokeback Mountain in today's mail. Thank you very much. You will have an official receipt letter mailed to you shortly.

Are you aware that the film is being shown on campus this Thurday, April 13 and is open to all? Co-writer Diana Osanna will be here. See below.

Speaking of Brokeback, an alert reader wrote in last week to bitch-slap, er, correct an error. I said the Brokeback Mountain DVD was number four on Amazon. In fact, it was number one, It was the full screen version that was number four. Now please tell the folks at Dave Cullen's Ultimate Brokeback to stop making death threats. I'm sorry already. (FYI, Brokeback is still number one—and not just in all of our hearts.)
