This is Killer, I'm his mom. I miss you.

My car windows looked like the window above all the time!

Mine slept on top of the AC floor vents in Texas. I would walk into the room and wonder why it was so hot and all the floor vents were covered with dogs.

I love the last one. Mom trying to get a break from the kids. Grin
At my house, when I went in the bathroom and locked the door, (to get a break)  it was a toss up whether it was the kids hands poking the space under the door, or the dog paws!! Grin

I was going to say the same thing about my car windows, covered with Rottie nose prints.

One of the losers in the Ugliest Dog Contest.  Are they so inbred/overbred that they have "deformities", i.e. space between teeth where their tongue sticks out?  Or is it just the way that breed looks?

Wrong on all counts. Hair and teeth are genetically connected. Hairless dogs, regardless of the breed, lose most if not all of their teeth by early adulthood. The roots are shallow and the teeth simply fall out. AND the teeth to start with are very "primitive." It is easiest to see in the canines... instead of being curved and fairly broad at the base, hairless canines are almost straight and less wide at the base. Think shark's tooth. One way AKC (and FCI) judges can tell if a hairless competitor is naturally bald (rather than "groomed" into nakedness) is by the teeth.

Hairless cats are not hairless, but are covered in a very short, fine peach fuzz.

Buy a t-shirt, help animals displaced by Colorado wildfires

Hundreds of dogs, cats, livestock and other animals have been displaced in the Montana and Colorado wildfires. Shelters are at capacity; rescues are working around the clock to save the animals.

Hendricksboards.com, a designer of eco-friendly, handcrafted maple and bamboo skateboard decks and apparel, is supporting the local rescues and shelters in Colorado.

From now and until July 4, Hendrick Boards is offering a limited-edition tee that sparks a $10 donation to animal shelters and rescues in Colorado. Called “Be the Person,” the tee will directly support the efforts to save, care for, house and feed abandoned and displaced animals in the fire-ravaged areas of Colorado.

“Our hearts go out to the animals affected by the fire-ravaged areas of Colorado and Montana,” said David Hendrickson. “We want to make sure that the frontlines of animal welfare and protection in Colorado and Montana are given the resources needed to protect all animals and hope that a simple tee can make a difference.”

To see the tee, go to: http://www.hendrickboards.com/shop/colorado-fires?tracking=4fec723134c63.

All purchases made using this link will trigger donations to Colorado and Montana animal shelters and rescues.

Gonna post on my blog.

Ok, never mind. I tried to get on the link from here and from my blog and can't. It is most likely because I'm on dial-up BUT I keep getting an error message that IE can't open the page and is shutting down.  So' you're going to have to rescue without me.
