11 weeks old Esther with my new 15 weeks old pup, Clooney.
There is nothing wrong with Clooney's coat. She is black on top and silver gray underneath.

No, Esther is growing at a normal rate. Clooney is VERY small. She is a week older than MY puppies (which makes her FOUR weeks older than Esther) and half their size. The weight gain between 8 and 16 weeks is dramatic  MY pups are leaving here at 13-18 pounds, Esther is 8 now but Clooney is just 9. She (C) has a toy Poodle dad and a Wheaten mom and I was afraid she wouldn't be big enough for my breeding program... had a home all lined up for her if that was the case when she arrived... but I'm pretty sure she'll be at least 20 pounds as an adult. Fingers crossed anyway.

Esther was NOT please to have a pup HER size join the pack. But after about 24 hours they were best buds. They play with the other pups... even gang up together on one... but generally sleep side by side and they seem to reach their energy depleted point at the same time. E's leaving next week, along with one of the older pups and another of the older ones is going the following week.

Me too. She has been such a delight! "Special" pups don't come along in every litter. I am so happy she is going to the couple in NY. Marcy has loved her since she was born... I always though of Esther as Marcy's pup and I'm glad it worked out.

sigh...when something goed wrong,it all goes wrong. now imala has an internal infection, i think cause of the male. she`s on an antibiotic cure now, but one that doesn`t harm the pups,if she would be pregnant. but i dont have hope anymore!  Undecided

If you are talking about pyometria, that is extremely serious. It is not caused by the male. Any female coming into season has the possibility of getting it and it kills a lot of them. In my opinion, it is one of very few valid reasons for spaying.
Since you already have her on antibiotics, I'm guessing it was not a closed pyo (where there is no drainage, no indication of an infection until the dog is really, really sick.) Good luck with treating her. I have my fingers crossed for both of you.

Really pleased to hear you have a home for Puss Jack!!

Con, here's hoping Imala recovers.

No pet news this end, I fostered an abandoned cat for 10 days till a new owner could be found. Bert is just a big dope and Nelllie is still timid Nellie, will try and take some piccies soon

no until now its only vaginal, that is yellow substance is coming out of there  Wink and she`s on the AB to prevent it from going further.
but it explains why the male wouldn`t breed properly,if he has had the infection,he must have been in pain.
imala is not sick, she runs and eats,so i guess we were on time and she will be ok.

Did you talk to the male's owner? I don't think I've ever had ANY male with a genital infection.
Of course, Imala's drainage would be vaginal... there is no other way for the infection to escape.

Is there such thing as a dermatological reaction to the male's sperm? I know you (Sherry) talked about the physical (vomiting and pain) reaction your female had to the male sperm, but could this be a membrane/skin reaction?
