Thanks, Fritz.  Very interesting.

I've only seen the outside of PPG Place, and the courtyard (which is where the first link says the skating rink and Christmas tree are in the winter).

But about 10 years ago, I was in Pittsburgh and took a city tour which stopped at the Pitt campus.  We briefly visited the Cathedral of Learning, and went inside a couple of the nationality rooms.  I remember it as being quite impressive, and the gothic arches are even more impressive in the second link.  The interior looks like an old gothic-style church.

While I was staying with Sonja in Malmö, we crossed the Öresund Bridge between Sweden and Denmark by train to Copenhagen to spend a day there, arranged by Peter (ForS).  Orientating ourselves by the star-shaped moat of the star-shaped Kastellet; the park was so pretty, with wild flowers growing by the water.
