That load must get heavy.  She looked parked but we saw lots of ladies walking around with these filled baskets hanging off their shoulders.  We actually saw one lady who got hit, very softly, by a taxi that was driving too fast.  First it knocked into her basket and then knocked into her.  No one was hurt thankfully.

LOTS of birdcages there.  This man was cleaning his.  He would set a dirty one next to the square cage by his feet, open the door and the bird knew to fly into the square cage.  Then when he had changed the paper he did it again and the bird would fly right back in.  So easy!

Hanoi has lots of lakes which I didn't know before going there.  And they have such pretty lights on buildings and in the trees around the lake.  The green light is Turtle Island in the middle of the lake.

And walking through a park at night on our way back to our hotel, across from the lake.  Lots and lots of people enjoying the open space.  People of all ages, parents with little ones, kids of all ages practicing their skateboarding or rollerblading.  There was a group of ladies with loud music doing aerobics and about 30 feet away a choir practicing.  Also older teens practicing their dance moves, lots of them breakdancing.  It was all very communal and great fun to watch everyone.
