President Barack Obama on Thursday told supporters attending a gay fundraiser that while in Hawaii he worked out at the Marine base, where at least three Marines thanked him for ending the policy.

“At least three times that I was at that gym, people came up, very quietly, to say, you know what, thank you for ending 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell.'”

“I didn't even know whether or not they were gay or lesbian. I didn't ask. That wasn't the point. The point was these were outstanding Marines who appreciated the fact that everybody was going to be treated fairly.”

I see that the reprint of Wingmen is now available on Amazon.  Also that the Kindle version allows one to read the first seven chapters for free.

I know that if one buys books through the Amazon link at the bottom of this page some $ is supposed to be nipper-ed to support the forum, but does anyone know if Cullen gets a detailed accounting / breakdown from Amazon?  Or do we just take it on faith that this happens the way it's supposed to?  When I've bought books through the link, it seems to me I never noticed any special messages from Amazon about this.

One of the comments suggested that it would be entertaining, at the very least, to see the Republican leadership in Congress hire lawyers to try to deny soldiers and veterans their rights. Hope he's right.
