Is anyone else enjoying the stories of Michele Bachmann and her
Swiss citizenship?

This is distressing.  How will we know which side she is on when we declare war on Switzerland?
Perhaps she should be interred somewhere up in the Minnesota North Woods.

Has she paid her Swiss taxes? (she says she has been a dual citizen since 1978....which apparently is not the case)

so many questions.

Probably not, she is five or six years older than him, provided both aren't lying about their ages also; her's would have been faked first!  Grin

And this would be a problem because...? They're probably the same folks who issued the exit visas for Kennedy, Elvis and Hoover.

The first question is how soon until we can extridite her to Switzerland?

I'm with you on that one. Just can't believe she's from my state.

Isn't it true that so many extremely rich people (including those from the film industry) leave the U.S. and/or all over the world for Switzerland because of their lax tax laws and hidden bank accounts?
Sophia Loren and her husband Carlo Ponti did that many yrs. ago for this reason.  Now she lives in a castle like a queen.  Well, I suppose I can't begrudge her for that.

-Why waste time & money on extradition proceedings when the Hit Man In Chief could simply declare her a "terrorist" and order her to be terminated..?

Man, it's that easy to become a Swiss citizen? I had no idea. My father was born in Switzerland and his family immigrated to the US when he was five years old. I must look into this.

But I wonder how Marcus managed to get out of compulsory military service over there...

Well, at least he did some good things to balance out the bad.

True, but, ethically, isn't it a bit like saying, because old Geo. Zimmerman next door has done so much good for our community, that we should try to overlook his occasional bouts of 'self-defense'..?

By the way, a different opinion than yours:

Federal courts have concurred with the president. The constitution
was never meant to safeguard those who would kill to overthrow it.

-In reality that was a quote from some miscellaneous blogger- ('yuku.com')...
AFAIK, no Federal Court has yet heard arguments regarding the legality of assassinating US citizens, nor made any ruling on the issue. Fact is, the Obama regime has *refused* to hand the memoranda concerning their banana republic-style murder of Anwar Al-Awlaki over to the courts, or to the Associated Press -- which is also suing the regime for their 'findings.'

Quote from:  The Associated Press
Al-Awlaki's father sued to try to stop the government from killing his son, arguing he had to be afforded the constitutional right to due process. But U.S. District Judge John Bates in Washington refused to intervene in al-Awlaki's case because he said the courts do not have the authority to review the president's military decisions.

-The Constitution was always intended to safeguard your life and your liberty from the whims of would-be dictators.

So then, who does have the authority to reel in the dictator and his henchmen, or shall they continue to run unchecked?

If Willard Romney takes the Office next year, who knows how far he will push the death squad. Romney could even decide to target your ilk..?!

I see this entire move simply as him playing along with what his political advisors tell him.   It's an election year, if they tell him he can get 50K more votes out of certain states by hopping around on one leg and barking like a dog; he will do it.

Yup.

I am perennially distrait over the way politicians politicize politics.

Apparently, with the blow-back, she's giving it up. Pity, I so wanted to hear her yodel in her dirndl, carrying pots of milk up to the cheese factory.
