Sherry, since you're here...CC has been limping, right front, but I can't find anything on her foot, no cut, nothing that I can feel embeded....guess I'll take her in this week...dammit!  I hate to make the vet's boat payment.......

I'd give it some time. It's possibly a bruised pad or she may have twisted her ankle or even stubbed her toe. Unless she is holding it off the ground, refusing to put ANY weight on it and sreaming if you just glance in her direction, she'll probably be fine in a couple days.

She's telling the truth about the snacks.
I don't share.

Realises Doodler and the dogs live next door.
Takes it all back.

Oh, I didn't realise you live in southern Sweden, Doodler!

I may reconsider my decision to run off into the woods....

I figure if a dog has bad teeth and I can't afford to fix it, the least I can do is give them soft food and soft snacks.....

My Khalas (large HAIRLESS dogs from Central and South America) never had teeth and they ate what everyone else did. In their homelands, soft food meant well rotted carcasses.

bad teeth = soft food, soft snacks...

these dogs didn't ask to live with me......if they lived with somebody rich, they'd have their teeth fixed.  I do what I can to make their years happy and comfortable....

If I didn't have any teeth, I'd eat hard biscuits...but I'd like soft food, soft snacks...

Life's too short, especially for pets......they are not livestock....(and even then.....)
