Not all Mormons are from Utah....although it may seem that way!

**Oh yes, I can assure you that write I post about Arab history is much more accurate!

What I should have said about Romney is this:  The multimillionaire came to MA from way out in Utah, ran for and became governor of MA (how this happened I never understood), practically ruined the state, which he really didn't know much of - one large objection being health care which confused the seniors so much they practically gave up - and just went back to wherever he came from.

There.  I think that's a bit better.**

And isn't it amazing that his father, George Romney, a Republican candidate for President in 1968, had no complaints about his candidacy back then, even though he was born in Mexico. Guess times were different, and it helped to be a Republican.

Lol, ah c'mon Fritz.   Both of his parents were American citizens and he was not born during one of those odd periods when those rules for citizenship were temporarily not valid.  George Romney was a true moderate in his political views and philosophy.
The crap about the President is just that, crap, but it is sort of beneath us, I hope, to cast aspersions on others or stoop to the vile tactics of Fox and Rush L. and the rest.
And, well, of course, it always helps to be a Republican.  Cheesy
(Except, of course, when it doesn't )  Wink

Say what you want to about Romney, but being a Zionist doesn't hurt him, at least not in this country.

Speaking of Republicans, do they really think that refusing to roll back the tax rates for the top 1% while insisting that the 99% go back to their higher taxes will actually win them any votes?  Can 'tax the poor so the rich can have more' be as at the top of their agenda as it is?  (I was going to say seems, but that is certainly not the right word.)  Seriously, is there a brain vacuum at the top of the GOP?  Are they still listening to the Rove Grinch?   His heart really is three times too small...or ten...

Romney's been on Letterman, giving the Top Ten list this week trying to show
he has a sense of humor.  I thought it just made him look ridiculous.  Last night
he was on Charlie Rose for an hour and recited all his talking points.  They seem
to be some of the same ones he had last week.

No one has even cast one vote in a primary or caucus yet and I am over this
presidential campaign all ready.

Quote
Romney claimed that the current administration’s “ambivalent” attitude bolsters those who seek Israel’s destruction and suggested that Israel might further be isolated if Obama remains in office.

-Therefore, Israel's isolation is Obama's fault, not their own actions;  and IRAN is willing to risk total annihilation in order to take out Tel Aviv, and the $9-BILLION we hand Israel each year -- US taxpayer money that they admit they don't need--is not enough.

Thank you, Mitt. I'll sleep a lot better at night with you at the helm.
