You may have heard on the news of 6 people being injured last night by an improvised bomb thrown onto a bridge over Khlong Hok Wa canal where there is an angry dispute between residents of flooded areas on either side of a sandbag flood barrier and also with the authorities.

Khlong Hok Wa is in the outer northern suburbs of Bangkok, a long way from where we are in the eastern suburbs and we are still dry and safe. Our district is not threatened by breaches in the barrier.

Phong has gone to Pattaya on the east coast this morning to transfer a customer/s to the still-safe international airport in eastern BKK.

 Requests like the following tend to dangle, but will try, anyway.  Can anybody tell me how to post a comment to someone else's post on FB?   On my news feed, I can click "like", and that works, but when I click "comment" and there's a drop-down, and I type something, it never goes anywhere.
  Do I go to their wall?  Or....what am I missing?

 Googling for an answer comes up with very strange, and different answers  Tongue.

Do you press "enter" after typing the comment? It used to be there was something to press to make the comment stick, but now you just press "enter" on your computer keyboard and it should work.

 That helps, too, so thanks, again, Fritz !  Probably will be a peripatetic poster there, now  Smiley.  I still don't understand chat, but that's as it should be, as, although my computer crashes only 3-5 times a month, now, I don't wanna be in the middle of something and zapped, as the other person might find that rude or worse.
 It's really neat to see the news feed, now, though, and be able to respond !

I'm pretty much the same - and I have more idea of what my family are up to Smiley. They like to send and receive FB messages too.  My granddaughter has just hit 13 and was allowed to join on the day, and I must say it's fun to see her there, even if she does seem to have acquired a foreign language for the purpose!

But I still feel much more at home here on the forum.

If you want to start a new paragraph within the comment without posting it yet, pressing SHIFT and ENTER at the same time will generate a new paragraph.
