                                                                 ^^^^

How wonderful the latter part of this story is Chuck. Now .....so many of us have heard of and can enjoy the beautiful voice and songs of Eva.

But reading the beginning of this paragraph only reminds me that another wonderfully talented person...so full of promise.... died way too young ....like others that we know of. Cry

Never heard of this band before yesterday. Watched film footage of them on "The Isle of Wight Music Festival" that was on over this weekend. I was totally knocked out by them. Brilliant.

Black Stone Cherry......"Blame it on the Boom Boom"

And "yes".....I like "Nickelback" too....this band has the same type of sound !!

I heard this on a video as a soundtrack on YouTube.

I really like it!

Oh, yes.  Thank you.

Also: this sounds as though it might be based on something in real life.  Anybody know?

Classical music fans, check this out.

A bank by the name Som Sabadell wanted to celebrate their 130th anniversary, and decided to do so with a flashmob.  However, this was different from any flashmob I've seen.

They opted to celebrate with "Ode to Joy", but instead of dancers joining the group, it starts with one lone musician, and then as the piece goes on, others walk out with their instruments to join, until the orchestra and chorus is complete.

The reactions from the crowd, especially little kids, is fun to watch

I've just discovered this gem on You Tube. Bryn Terfel (sorry but I do love his singing), on an Island in the Sea, Bardsey Island, with a tractor and a grand piano, and singing A Litany for the Feast of All Souls by Schubert.

A real feast of singing by a man brought up on a Welsh farm. It seems to be raining constantly, but he takes it in his stride.

WOW this was really great, Chuck. Thanks for finding and posting it! The kids were great! And if this creates a love of classical music in at least one of them, it was so worth it!! Thanks again.
