Change of pace.  I think, but am not sure, that this is a cover song - at least, Marc Bolan recorded it long before Placebo's version here, from Velvet Goldmine.  And a sort of  reminder that Christian Bale was in that movie a long time before Batman.  But mostly, it's fun seeing those bits of the movie itself again:

Anyone ever heared of Perfume Genius? His songs always have pretty heavy subjects (suicide, sexual orientation, drugs, porn), but are really beautiful! I really can recommend it to people who can open themselves for a bit more difficult music ^^
Saw him two months ago at a local rock festival, and dispite he being a bit of odd inbetween the heavy acts, it was really good!

One of Brahms's most beautiful, elegiac movements indeed.

An 80s NJ singer who got some airplay on MTV back in the day, but for some reason, her singles never got much airplay on radio.

I always liked her raspy voice, and I have her CDs in my collection, which is funny since this is NOT the dance music I usually listen to.
