Ricki Lee Jones .

Yup, I'm no fanatic when it comes to cover songs, even Beatles cover songs:

Never mind the above.  Somehow I lost Ricki Lee, and Don Henley got mixed in.  Gotta get do the chores I've been putting off; will straighten it out later.

Another "golden oldie" being used with an advert on TV. I love this version. I also loved Fleetwood Mac who's song it is originally.... but I always thought the women that joined the group didn't do Fleetwood Mac any favours. They were never the same.....never as good.

I remember watching this concert first time round.....when it finished I was a complete convert !! He is still the same today as he was then......just lets the music talk and has never deserted his style of writing. Wonderful.

My favourite fucking band right now is Montreal's PATRICK WATSON! Their sound is sublime.

Patrick Watson
'Adventures in Your Own Backyard
Montreal indie band Patrick Watson performed this rendition of their song "Adventures in Your Own Backyard" in the living room at the Spotify House in Austin last weekend. Before the set, frontman Patrick Watson mused on his favorite contemporary songwriters. "Grizzly Bear and Beirut, those are things that are around us, that are of our generation," he said. "Andrew Bird is a fantastic thing. But I still like classics. I'm a Simon and Garfunkel type of guy."
