Saw the vid of Freddie today singing this....when he was so ill. The song always brings a lump to my throat....but the video pushes me over the edge to tears.
So......here's just the song.

Have long treasured that Dusty Springfield CD produced by Pet Shop Boys, but for some reason I just saw the video of "Reputation" today:

Nice vid Castro.

I do kinda like Dusty.....but always had a real soft spot for "The Pet Shop Boys". Especially this cover of a great Mr Nelson's song.

Hiya Marz!

I know you always like to hear how the Brits are doing here in America.  It seems we're under a new "British Invastion" at the moment.

Grin

Leading the charge (still) is Adele.  According to Billboard Magazine, her 21 CD will be back at #1 within the week, having a total of 24 non-consecutive weeks there.  The CD's 4th single "Rumour Has It" climbs from #35 to #23 here on the Hot 100 chart.

Jessie J. is still getting tons of airplay on her single "Domino".

One Direction had the #1 CD here in America, and their current single "What Makes You Beautiful" is in the Top 20 here.

UK boy band The Wanted is currently in the Top 5 with their single "Glad You Came", with tons of advertising that their CD drops here on April 24th.

By chance heard Adele's "I Can't Make You Love Me" a couple of times recently.  It somehow reminded me of Janis Ian's "In the Winter," which set me to listening to a lot of Ian.  Here's the particular one:

Aside from the criticizisms about Madonna's age, there has been talk late that Madonna "can't" sing.

By chance tonight, found a video on YouTube with footage of Madonna at interviews, rehearsals, and backstage, singing acapella or live with music.

Doesn't have the strongest voice, but I believe she can sing.

Not to take anything away from Madonna......but I always though that Cyndy Lauper should have been "up there"
with her in the fame game. Thought her voice was fantastic. Could rock it......could do ballads.....could "blues" it up too ,as this shows. Not sure how old she is (didn't check) but could be "around" Madonna's aged group.
So lets here it for the "seniour ladies".....and here's my favorite:

Cyndy Lauper......"Just your fool".........Go girl !!
