Great pics, Jack!

Any idea where you'll live yet? (not that I know anything about Hawaii Smiley)

Just getting over the weekend from hell !

1. Should have gone away for the weekend to Somerset....but had to abandon it because of the weather. RV site under water plus the fact the small narrow lanes were impassable because the deluge of rain.

2. My laptop has a computer virus. Have had to take it to comp experts where it is costing almost £200 to clear it off. In the mean time I decided to buy another laptop .....just in case !!

3. Last....but the most serious of all.....my tiny grandaughter Sophia of three weeks was admitted to hospital on Saturday with an unidentified infection....still. She is linked upto tubes and wires and things that go beep constantly. My son and daughter in law are beside themselves. We are also having to cope with their two year old daughter Amelia who is bewildered by it all. Her mommy has to be with Sophie at all times  ...as she is breast feeding her.

It was like the bad weather we had over the weekend that stopped us going away was a blessing in disguise as we were needed here.

Oh dear, Sue. I do hope Sophie will be better soon, and that everything else will improve too, including the weather.
Thinking of you.
Please let us know how things are going.

Thankyou for all of your messages of concern and prayers for little Sophie. Have been to see her today ....she seems to be a little better. Small problem today though ....because her veins are what I should imagine are like cotton threads......the cannula in the back of her hand leaked the antibiotics out onto the bandage keeping it in place. They said the vein had collapsed and the antib's had nowhere to go.....so they had to find another vein. Sophie got all upset....which upset her mommy. I wish they had sent Victoria (mom) out of the room when they were "fishing" around to reconnect the cannula. But all is going well again now. Thanks again for all your thoughts.

Just saw this now.

So glad she's doing better, Suely!

Hopefully it'll continue in the right direction from now on.

This counts, maybe, as a vicissitude.  As of this morning, every usual site I go to opens up a new window, rather than directly to the site (including here).  So, I do a search for how to fix it, and it's IE Tools>options>General>settings>click"a new tab in a current window".
It was already there. What a nuisance  Tongue.  Has this happened to anybody else?  Did you just give up?

ETA: looks like fixed by allowing pop-ups in new tab, instead of new window. Changed that, and am doing ok.  It was in the same area as the above, in case anybody ever gets the same problem.  I hope it's fixed  Tongue.
