Great pic. True, there's noone like her.

I just read a highly interesting double biography on her stormy relationship with Burton.

We were holidaying in Dubrovnik some years ago. We had hired a boat and were just pulling out of the small harbor there.I was engrossed in a book about Richard Burton called "Rich" . I was just reading about where they loved to sail to in their boat called "Kalizma".....I just happened to look up .....and there....just moored in side the harbor was their boat. A beautiful ,wooden old fashioned cruising yacht.Old fashioned luxury.Yugoslavia (as was) was one of their favourite places to hideaway in apparently.
To say I nearly dropped the book over board was an understatement !!! Just thought I would tell ya !!!!

I want to know what the motivations are for people coming forward now regarding this case, that it's being reopened.  Apparently the captian is trying to get a book deal or something like that?  30 years later and they're investigating?  Can anything even be done at this point?

Had the same thought, Chuck--what possible "new" evidence could warrant
taking a look at when there were, as far as I know, only 4 people on that small
boat.  The three actors and the boat captain.  The news keeps calling it a
lingering  mystery, but what I think is that sometimes people don't want to
accept a simple explanation because it seems wrong to have something so
tragic to happen to someone like this out of the blue, so people want some
bigger cosmic explanation when there perhaps isn't one.  It was just a mistake
or accident is what I believe.

Way back when it happened there were persistent rumors in the gay community
that Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken were screwing each other and that
that is what their horrendous argument was about and she wanted off the boat.
Has anyone out there ever heard that?  I've heard it again from people this week.

I was two feet away from Natalie Wood once where I worked.
It was on the other side of a wall, though.  When someone told me
I was like, why didn't you say something so I could've come in and
seen her!  One of those things.

"Face it,mother, I was the slut of all time."   LOL!

People think she won the oscar because during the voting period she was
in the hospital and people thought she wasn't even going to survive.  She
really shouldn't have won for that film, but that's an old story.  I believe
Shirley MacLaine should've won that year for The Apartment, myself.
