Yeah, I had my hair done in Dallas last week - that cute little hairdresser cracked me up!  When he was finished, he said, "There you go - fried, dyed, and flipped to the side!

And then he asked me how Jack was doing. Jack, how come men don't ever wanna dance with their wives but they'll dance with their wives' hairdressers?

That caption is so, so beautiful, so heartbreaking, so real and true.  Don't we all wish that we could hear Ennis thinking these things?  Well, now we can thanks to Rickb and his amazing talent.

I think this is my favourite part:

But that does not detract in any way how I feel about all the rest of it.  Honestly, I cannot do your words justice.  I really am a complete mess.

I had my official DVD viewing last night, and cried more than I have ever cried in all the millions of other times I have watched it, and so I was feeling slightly teary-eyed and emotional anyway.....and then I come on here, and discover this.  So now you know why I am in tears......

Thank you RickB, you really have made peace for Ennis and Jack.

If there'd ever exist a sequel to BBM, it should be that single scene with those words.
