Didn't know what to call it. So, I just used the jpg name. Ennis at the Window.
It should probably be called "Save Me a Place"
I was thinking of a little kid asking his friend to save him a good seat at the school cafeteria
or a Saturday Matinee.
Oh great, I just got over seeing the pic, and now you've named it Save me a place.....why don't you just shoot me, and be done with it?
And don't you dare lay low for a while, you have too much talent and too many BBM pics to caption!!!
I'm with you. I'm a goner over this one. Especially the "Save me a place," the gun under the bed or the curve in the road. I also take comfort in Ennis not having to wait long to be with Jack again. I agree -- you have to stay with us RickB

I'm not going anywhere, I just don't want to go overboard. Whoops! Too late.
Hi, Rick,
My first reply to the Master of the Captions.
This last SAD one really made me stop and look at the relationship as a whole, as an ongoing history. I am so used to picking apart scene by scene, first as a lurker, than as a poster, and this was a heartbreaking example for me of the whole being greater than the some of the parts.
You really have a grasp on the internal lives, the true hearts, of these two characters.
Bless you for always sharing...your are feeding those of us who are hungry in certain pockets of our hearts and souls with these captions.

"You all right over there, friend?"
Oh, hell, now that is truly funny-"after six beers"...

I wondered if those of you who are so good at captioning these photos might try your hand at coming up with a nifty title for the Forum's book that we're working on.
To find out more about the book, you can either read the 36 pages of our thread "Ideas for our book" or here's the short and sweet version:
The goal and message of the book can be found at
http://davecullen.com/forum/index.php?topic=1082.msg56071#msg56071
.
The vast majority of the content will be selected from Forum members' posts which illustrate how and why BBM had such an impact on their lives. No posts will be used without the authors' permission, of course.
About 20 Forum members have been scouring the forum for weeks to find the most powerful stories, and I think we're going to have quite a book when the project is complete in 2 or 3 months.
I know you all have some remarkable talent over here - when I'm not working on the book project, I occasionally slip over here to laugh (and sometimes cry) at your latest posts. Lola and louisev and the rest of you are so clever! RickB, you are a national treasure. I love your funny work but
Long as You Love Me
and
Save Me a Place
are classics.
So I hope you all will share some of your talent by helping us come up with a few more good book titles to add to this list of possibilities:
http://davecullen.com/forum/index.php?topic=1082.msg190019#msg190019
Let me know if you have any questions. I'm headed off-line now, but will be back online in the morning!
Thanks a bunch!

Is this the one?
Alma's Daily Horoscope says: Your moon is on Pluto and there is a white elephant in your living room. There are big, life-changing surprises coming your way. Things are looking up at work, while things at home are about to take a surprising turn. You are about to find out the hard way that husbands, cowboys and fishin' buddies like to French kiss when they think no one is looking. Get a lawyer.
Ennis's Daily Horoscope says: You are about to see a loved one for the first time in 4 years. Buy some vaseline. You are about to have more sex in one week than most people have in their entire lives. You will be sore as hell with a big smile on your face. Oh, and I just told your wife that you're queer, whoops!!

I didn't jump off the bridge. Just had to run to the ladies room at work and hide. Loved your entire caption but just 'bout died with the following.
Where ever you are, I am. You are my Heaven, and it's sweet and warm.
You did love me, I see it all, plain as day. I see you in that alley the day we parted. I see you waitin at the window four years later. I see you the night you sent me away. Alma jr. heard you sobbing my name when you thought she was asleep. That's when she knew.
It's funny, Bud, you always thought you were hiding it all from the world. You couldn't see how you lit up when you saw me. Everyone else saw it, and had a pretty good idea what it meant.
That last part. Ennis really did light up when he saw Jack.
There are not words to say..., you are wonderful.
