Talbot was dead, right?  I think I saw his guuuu and the king felt it but wasn't totally positive!  He was a great character!

'm starting to think that Lafayette might be the Bruja, or whatever it turns out to be.  All that talk about protecting him and how special and powerful he is.

I keep wanting whatshisname to show up for his beloved Tara.  He has to come back, he's too much of a great character to just abandon.
Yes.....that is very true about Lafayette!  I did like whathisname and I am hoping he comes back....just to see what he is really up to...not really because of Tara!

I just watched last week's episode, which early on had a tender conversation between Bill and Sookie.  I hope this was meant to be funny - the dialog and the pacing were utterly Soap Opera,  and giggleworthy.

My Other vampire series,  BBCAmerica's "Being Human," has plenty of funny moments too, as when George, the sweet werewolf, is obliged to make conversation with a visiting ghost, and politely asks, "How long have you been dead?"  Ah well, you have to have been there.  The acting on this show is first-rate.

Is that the scene in which Bill tells Sookie that he wants her to have the life she deserves but that he was unable to give that to her?  I didn't think it was funny at all, I thought it was heart-breaking, lol!  Cry  Cheesy

I lost HBO when I left Denver, just got it back.

I've got about 4 eps to catch up on before a TrueBlood BBQ Sunday. LOVing it.

It is so much better than season 2 again. Whew.

I was just watching over breakfast--something I've avoided before--and it's just too good to watch while eating. Every facial expression counts. Why is this show so much better than anything else on TV?

I am not sure why but it has ruined all my other shows!  I don't even bother watching the other shows anymore (except of course Survivor and Amazing Race)!  Well, I guess Weeds is close to True Blood but is an entirely different show!

I like to think that Alan Ball's gay sensibilities have something to do with it, lol!  He's responsible for two of the best shows ever produced:  TRUE BLOOD and SIX FEET UNDER

True Blood makes the cover of The Rolling Stone:

EDIT:    Photo Bucket actually censored that image within a day of posting it!  I switched to Image Shack, let's see how long it lasts there.

just caught up on the last three episodes and just loved them, flawed or not.  the best dialog and one liners ever to hit tv.  as a long time reader of fables and lore, i love finding them all smooshed together in there.

and i was able to introduce a younger viewer to the delectable simone simone.

OMG----My son is now watching the show with me!  I know it is not appropriate BUT so many one liners that I want him to hear! I also know he is growing up in a HOSTILE conservative environment so a show like True Blood will just balance him out!  HaHa!

How old is your son, Passion?

A friend gave her 12 year old Twihard daughter the first disc of the first season for her and her little friends to watch to tide them over until the next Twilight installment. "This is about vampires, she should like that."  Later I was talking to her about the show and how racy it was.  A look of panic crossed her face and she asked if it was innapropriate for a pre-teen and told me about her daughter watching it.  I said..hmm..let me see....True Blood and a twelve year old girl.....I'd say, definitely innapropriate.  She later then asked her daughter if True Blood had been innapropriate for her to watch and she said: "Yes mum, we didn't get through the first epsiode."  For weeks my friend was expecting angry calls from the parents of her daughter's friends, lol!

Good grief.  I continually see 12-year-olds who preen about like trollops of 18 or so.  You mean their little minds are all innocent and tender?  Or maybe my neighborhood just isn't that classy...

Maybe she was younger than 12, I can't remember but have you seen the first episode of True Blood?  It's pretty wild.  My 58 year old sister watched it with her 33 year daughter and they were both very uncomfortable watching it together.  Sis said she never thought she'd be watching porn with her daughter, lol!

True Blood is  inappropriate for me to watch!  Ha!  My son is almost 14.  And my friend asked me the same thing...."aren't you uncomfortable watching it with him!"  I guess because it is so off the wall....I am fine!  I think some of it still goes over his head and the real intense scenes he covers his eyes anyway!  And the violence is so cheesy!  Now I would not show it to ANY of his friends!  I wouldn't want those phone callls!  My daughter who is younger can't even watch Twilight....she is too scared.  I guess it just depends on the kid.
