I like Eddie. I have read a lot of books about vampires, and there are always ones around like him. Some survive, some don't. I'm thinking his statement to Jason is a warning of what is to come. Jason has never gotten in this deep with a woman before and I think he is half afraid of Amy. He may just let Eddie go as I think he feels sorry for him.

I think there is more to Amy than we see.

But so many twists and turns have happened, I guess we will just have to wait and see. It's gonn be hard to wait for season 2.

Okay, don't read any further if you haven't seen tonight's ep.

Damn, damn, damn.

Teenage!Sam flashbacks broke my heart. His parents ditching him--that's harsh.

I'm heartbroken over poor Eddie's fate.  If Jason doesn't get a clue after this then he's officially too stupid to live and worse, becoming a bore.  I had hopes there for a few minutes that Lafayette would ride to the rescue but it looks like he was more interested in saving his own hide.

And to top it off, I'm heartbroken over Bill being forced to turn that terrified woman.  He's truly lost his soul now.  Kinda funny to watch brooding Eric have to grovel for a change, though.  The actress who played Pam did a nice job of showing blood lust mixed with compassion with no dialogue whatsoever.

I'm enjoying the show very much, but with such a high quotient of misery, I'm beginning to feel manipulated.  TB is in danger of becoming a one-note story. I hope the writers have the sense to back off the unrelenting grimness and mix it up a bit.  Also, a little less flouncy pouting from Sookie wouldn't hurt.

i was good last time, but this time my eyes strayed.  oh well.  it sounds like i got some parts of it right, and some things i had seen elsewhere but HADN'T mentioned, ie regarding eric, are already coming to pass.

it will be days before tru blood gets posted, i suspect, so its hard to wait.

i may have to go out and get the charlaine harris novels to tide me over until the series returns.  assuming they are in my library sistem.

Jack, you shouldn't have any trouble finding Charlaine Harris' books in your library. She's been a popular author for years, primarily in the mysteries genre.  She's currently writing two series, the Southern Vampire books (Sookie) and the Grave books (mystery).

Thanks JoeAnn. I was just thinking today I need to go to the library and look for them. My current books are read and due back, so this will be a good time to look for them.

i did see sam's "explanation"  Shocked

and sookie's reaction.

Anyone catch tonight's epi?  Here be spoilers.

Bwahahaha!  Poor Bill!  He's probably wishing he had turned Jessica over to someone from the tribunal to turn instead of getting saddled with such a pain in the ass.  She's going to be amusing to watch.   And then to top it off, he comes back to Sam moving in on his woman and a snippy (once again!  that's getting old real fast) Sookie. Jeez, major bummer!  Loved the scene between Bill and Eric, though.  Bill's treading a tricky path.

Ding, dong! The witch is dead!  Yay!  Amy is no más.  I was wishing a more gruesome fate for her.  As for Jason, he may not have killed Amy and the other women, but he was an accomplice to the abduction and murder of poor Eddie, so jail is exactly where he should be sitting.

Oh my!  I almost forgot about this thread!  I agree that Jessica is a pain in the butt ....poor Bill!  Some very funny scenes with them together.  I have always wondered what kids growing up in that type of strict religious house hold  were really thinking!  It is even more funny than I thought!

Jason, Jason, Jason.....well first I have to say that he has a great body!  The actor playing him is perfect.  His eyes say so much and so little at the same time! Ha!  It is hard to watch him screw up so much!  Also, hard to see the actor playing him in this role since the last time I saw him he played the brother in Flicka (my daughters favorite show!)  If my daughter could see him now!  NOT!

One thing I have noticed in these last few episodes is that they are not really showing Sookie listening to people's thoughts very much.  I expected more of that.  Is she controlling it more?

Looking forward to tonight's final episode for this season.  I wonder what type of cliffhanger Alan will come up with!  It will be a good one for sure!
