SPOILERS (maybe!) if you are not caught up through the November 2nd episode!

I wrote a letter to JoeAnn another True Blood fun with some questions I had about the show!  I just thought I would post those questions to see if anyone else has any opinions.  It will be fun to try to figure this thing out together!
Here is my PM
So glad there are other True Blood fans here!  I knew there would be!  We also seem to like the same type of shows!  Anyway, none of my friends are watching so I am bummed I have no one to talk to about the show!  So, since you replied to my post....I am hoping you might have some opinions and answers to my questions about the show!!!  If you don't ....no worries!

My first question is about Bill's "maker".  Do you remember her name?  Did she really explain to him why she chose to make him a vampire?  I was trying to remember about that scene...when he wakes up and sees all the dead people around him.  She says something like " these other men had no manners with a lady and you did" (Not exact quote but something like that)  So you think she chose him because he was polite and turned her down because of his family?  Do you think she did it out of vengeance....basically saying since you didn't want me because of your family I am going to make it so you can never see your family again!  I just want to know more about that whole thing!

My next question.....who was the fourth body in the fire?  I got distracted while watching that episode so either I missed it or they haven't said yet.  Why was the coroner crying?  Another part i missed so then I thought maybe his reaction was about the 4th body in the fire.

I still think Sam is very suspicious....first I thought he was a vampire, then the dog and now a wolf maybe??  The naked running scene was very funny and the naked sheet rolling around scene was creepy!  What is he??

Ok..I will give you a break now!  Just some thoughts that have been bugging me!  I probably need to go back and watch the few episodes that I was distracted in but it is really hard to watch because I have 2 kids and the show is not kid appropriate at ALL!  Ha!

as far as bill's maker is concerned, my read was that she respected his loyalty to his family and wife and turned him because the only other alternative would have been to kill him.  this way even though he couldn't be there with them, he knew his family would go on.

sam was easy.  same is a shape shifter, although he apparently has some serious limitations to his abilities.

what i am getting a HUGE charge out of is the relationship between eddie the vampire and jason.  its really showing the better side of jason's nature.  and the fact that eddie was wise enough to properly define amy as a psychpath.  i am now mostly convinced that it is amy who is after sookie, probably to make jason even MORE dependent.

i don't think i am going to be able to STAND a long season break in this show.  its TOO SOON !!

I don't agree about Bill's maker.  I think she did it to torture him more.....she seemed pretty cruel to me.  It will be interesting though when (I am sure she will) reappear!  She could be kinder than I think.

I hadn't thought of Amy as the person after Sookie.  That is a really good call!  Poor Jason!  I am hoping that Eddie ends up helping him!

i don't know who wrote that plot line, the author of the books or the show's writers, but that bonding of young man lacking male attention in formative years with an empathetic attentive older gay man has a lot of truth to it, whether folks would like to believe it or not.  my gadar is so broke it picks up needy guys rather than gay guys, and i have mentored more than a few.  while ultimately unsatisfying, they like the attention and counsel, and the gay man has for while both companionship and a pretty young thing dancing attendance.

i told you jason stackhouse rang my bell, lol.

Interesting takes on Amy. My gut feeling is that she's just a damaged drifter who happened to be in the right place at the right time to stumble across a hot idiot who could be manipulated into helping her maintain her V habit.  Interesting that Sookie didn't pick up any suspicious thoughts from Amy during their little heart to heart.  Amy must have a very disciplined mind or she's so deeply psychotic that her extreme violent behavior doesn't register in her conscious mind.

as far as i can remember, sookie never picked up ANYTHING of amy's thoughts, which strikes me as quite odd.  i thought of that after my post.

correct me, though, if am wrong.

and i am sure y'all noticed they got jason nekkid again  Grin

and a litlle bit of sam butt thrown in for spice.

alas poor eddie.  i hjave a feeling once we really come to appreciate him, they will give him a death akin to gramma stackhouse.  the better to jolt us from complacency, i guess.

Ya know, I have a weird feeling Eddie won't die by Amy's hand or even fall victim to Bon Temps' resident serial killer.  It wouldn't surprise me to see another vamp kill Eddie after rescuing him.   Of all creatures, vamps seem to abide by the idea of survival of the fittest and Eddie, allowing himself to be kidnapped and bled by a pair of flaky junkies, would probably earn the disdain of any self-respecting vampire.  And yes, it will probably be bloody and gross, lol.  Not even the pie is visually appealing on this show!

as much as i love pecan pie, there was something nasty about that pie.  oozy.  i thought maybe it was some regional style, but it wasn't made with karo syrup, that's for sure.

I agree. All of the pecan pies I have seen, (I don't eat them) are firm. Maybe it is the high humidity, or maybe not cooked long enough.
