A German guy near us lives part of the year in a stone chicken coop he renovated. He spent 2 years coming down from Germany to work on the place. He has a little wood stove in it, and solar power. A bed folds down over the desk he's sitting at. The floor is wood except for the kitchen corner (rear left in the photo), which is tiled. It's quite amazing in there. (The toilet is in the woods, though.) He told me he lived in his car for two years, so this feels like luxury.
