Dear Jackie,

  I always try to forget that dreadful day...I always fill my void with so much ,but who am I foolin'? Mentally I lock down,I feel funny,crabby,melancholy takes over me and when I look at the calendar,yep,there it is....that dreadful day.

I can never come here on THE day,it always has to be days later,it's like a game ,I'm trying to push it away I guess. I think of you all the time,daily....every clear morning at 5 am as I leave my house for work,I look up and see the stars,saying "hola mi hermana,hope you're doing good today,don't forget me down here"  <sigh> what a silly game I play,but it's all I got and it'll have to be for the time being until I can come up with something else.

You seem to play games with me and at times I'm not always that quick to notice, but you make me smile. That bag rattling in the wind or a certain bird that flies and flies around me..or the dreams you seem to fill. A certain scent that reminds me of you...your art set you left behind. It's all there and I'm so thankful.

Jackie my sweet ,sweet sister of mine, I love you...you are a part of me now. I still cry for you ,that void is still there even after all this time....I don't think it will ever go away...you were the one who comforted me,the only friend that listened to my blabber besides Terry which I drove him nuts...lol...certain things I couldn't tell him but you..hermana....you were always there for me....you were there for so many of us...there won't ever be a friend like you...God how I miss you so...<sigh>

Today is just one of those days when I miss you, Jackie... Cry........I miss our 'chats', your ability to listen, to not judge, and offer good advice only when asked. So many 'Earth Mother' qualities about you, I couldn't begin to articulate all that you meant to me in the time we had together. I know in my heart you are in a better place now, with no pain or suffering. I just wish there was a 'Penny from Heaven' so I'd know you are watching............. Kiss
