1.   What did you do in 2012 that you’d never done before?
This.


2.   Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don’t think I make them at least consciously.  I don’t want to add myself to the list of those I disappoint.


3.   Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I know of.


4.   Did anyone close to you die?
I don’t think so.


5.   What countries did you visit?
Canada, Spain, Morocco, Turkey, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Austin.


6.   What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
Patience


7.   What date from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I have a terrible time with dates so I don’t know.


8.   What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I did not have one.


9.   What was your biggest failure?
 Not having an answer to the above question.


10.   Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes, illness but I’m okay.


11.   What was the best thing you bought?
That thing I thought I wanted and then didn’t buy.


12.   Whose behavior merited celebration?
Was anyone really on their best behavior this year?


13.   Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Oh, you know, all the usual left and right wingnut jerks though there were several who outdid themselves this year.


14.   Where did most of your money go?
Let’s assume I earned $1.00 this year.  Fifteen cents went to various non-profits I/We support.  Sixty cents went to one Federal government, two State governments, two Local municipalities, one County government.  The remaining twenty five cents went to stuff like toilet paper and the sales tax on stuff like toilet paper.


15.What made you really really really excited?
A production of “The Iceman Cometh” and a production of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”.



16.What song will forever remind you of 2012?
“Class”

a) happier or sadder?  The same.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Things that would have made me happier, thinner, richer.

Things that made me the “same”.

Spent it with my family.

The Vulture reviews of “Downton Abbey” , “Raising Hope” (not at much as last year), “Modern Family”, that English Sherlock series with the sumofabitch guy and the guy who plays Watson. (now a hobbit)

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
No but there are those I truly dislike.

26. What was the best book you read?
“The Warmth of Other Suns” comes to mind.  I read “The Great Gatsby” once a year so it is, obviously, up there.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Carole King holds up really, really, well. 
That Korean guy is fun.
One song, “Falling” does not a musical theatre piece make.

28. What did you want and get?
Another year.

Immortality.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?

“The Heiress”.  I have not seen all of the Oscar bait stuff.  “Argo” was fun.

I don’t’ remember what I did but I was 62.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
The absence of the Newtown tragedy.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012?
Camouflage.

Scotch.

“When you’ve lived through Herbert and J. Edgar Hoover, anything else is a laugh”.  (Have not lived through Herbert but you get my drift.)

I am an angry old white man according to some.  So, fill in the blank.

Mike Dean.

A friend who I thought I knew but I didn’t.

1.   What did you do in 2012 that you’d never done before?
Tried some extremely crazy things in Europa park in Germany (had enormous happines back then, i want to go again so bad!) and i travelled like crazy throught the whole year to other countries.


2.   Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
About the New Yeras resolutions, i dont have a lot of them, i have only two, one is in progress alredy and other one is on hold.

Yea, some of my relatives.

No.

Switzerland, Germany, Slovenia, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, Greece and Italy.


6.   What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
I only have one wish and thats to find someone for me.

July, because from that month i started to travel throught Europe and i never done that before.

Well i can say that i have finished with my second year of studies and i have traveled a lot, those are the bigest for me this year.

 To find a true love.

I have suffered only illness, didnt have any injuries.

My black winter coat. I have bought more expencive stuff than the coat but it was my big wish to have it.

No ones, im listening what other say but let it go if those people dont mean much to me, its different with someone who i like and care for.

Ill be honest, this year i spent most my money to clothing, perfumes and for a watch. I dont regret because it was about time to renew my waredrobe, im happy and i dont regret a SINGLE penny.


15.What made you really really really excited?
Knowing that im gona travel throw Europe for a half year.

Skyfall from Adele and the Euphoria from Loreen, i even know have the chills.

Hmm i think only that i founded a way to get more money for the things i wanted and that i was more active in searching for someone special in my life. I must admit im a bit lazy in that matter.

Sitting in front of the computer, thats maybe my future job but i m working on moving from computer as longer as i can throught the day.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With family only.

21. How will you be spending New Year's?
I want to spend a New Year with friends and family from other country this year like i did it last year, i liked it a lot.

No.

This year blank page, none.

I like to watch everything that has to do with history of WWII, with cooking (but proffesional cooking, i dont like to watch amateurs), travel tv programs and restauration ones...

I dont hate anyone but in 2012 i found that some people werent like i thought they are, totally on dislake page for me.

In 2012 it was I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak, and my favourite book of all time for now is Book Thief by Markus Zusak, i love that writer soo much.

Travel.

Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows part 2, Sherloc Holmes (games of shadows - masterpiece for me).

I really need to say it again, finding someone on who i would fall in love to.

Open minded to the limit.

Asian green tea and Sake Im soo glad i finally tried it.

Eva Longeria, i still do.

I still miss Heath Ledgar, he just died too soon.

3 new friends, all female and im really happy that i met them, i love them a lot.
