LL Cool J remained cool while being tracked by a TMZ cameraman at the airport as the cameraman attempted to strike up a provocative conversation with the rapper.

Asked TMZ's pap: What if you go to a bar and get hit on by a gay guy, does that change your nickname?

Replied LL Cool J: Nah. I guess it just expands your options, huh?

The Seth Rogen & Co pic is actually a spoof by Annie Leibovitz herself of her own Ford/Johannson/Knightley Vanity Fair pic.

Seven Network cuts lesbian kiss after backlash over Home and Away

Article from:  The Australian

THE Seven Network has censored a lesbian kissing scene in its family soapie Home and Away after a viewer backlash.
Since the lesbian story-line began two weeks ago, 100,000 viewers have turned off and complaints have been flooding in. The now-muted kiss will air on Tuesday night.

The decision was taken to play down the scene after complaints from conservative lobby groups in media reports were followed by complaints from viewers...

Some mothers contacted the network to say they did not want their children exposed to same-sex relationships in a family show. Home and Away is screened at 7pm and is rated PG

The show is popular internationally, especially with younger viewers, and attracts an Australian audience of more than one million every weeknight.

The story-line might have slipped under the radar had Melbourne's Herald Sun not written a report this month headlined "Gay TV for kids...

Seven's current affairs show Today Tonight did a story that featured a conservative lobby group called Pro-Family Perspectives complaining about a so-called gay agenda..

Media commentator David Knox from the TV Tonight website said yesterday the PG classification allowed for adult themes with limitations and did not discriminate between gay and straight content.
"It's sad that in 2009 a kiss is considered more threatening to advertisers and family values than stalkers, serial killers and kidnappers, all of which sustain Summer Bay story-lines on a regular basis," Knox said...

I googled Pro Family perspectives and found this comment
"I might point out to everyone that Pro-Family Perspectives is the Festival of Light, the Australian Family Association. I recently had them remove from there website an article that said homosexuality is a cancer. Pro-Family Perspectives Angela Conway is there "Research Officer". Sadly this is just new marketing as the Australian Family Association has such a bad name.

Look out for Angela Conway in the media and write to the editor or contact the journalist if you see Angela Conway around the place. Let them know you are really angry they had someone from the Australian Family Association rebranded. They are in effect a US funded hate based religious group.

Google the Festival of Light and Angela Conway to join the dots.

We must not allow hate groups to dominate our media hiding under new branding. I have seen articles on the ABC website by Angela Conway as a "Research Officer" talking about studies that do exist supporting her religious views against gay marriage etc. "

Goodonya, Brian.

I hadn't seen any previous references to Conway and her organization. Your research confirms the suspicions I had after reading The Australian's news report, especially as the trouble started with an article in the Herald-Sun which is such a disgusting rag.

Mass protest after soapie cuts lesbian kiss
Mex Cooper
March 31, 2009 - 2:11PM

Protesters are planning to pucker up in a mass 'kiss-off' at Melbourne's Federation Square tonight to rally against Channel Seven's decision to censor a lesbian kiss on teen soapie Home and Away.
Hundreds of people are expected to gather as the soapie airs at 7pm to peacefully demonstrate against the move by the station to reportedly cut scenes from a lesbian storyline.

...

St Kilda-based photographer Emma Phillips said ... she was originally pleased that a show marketed towards teenagers had decided to include a lesbian relationship.

"It's a tough time being a teenager anyway, being a gay teenager is doubly difficult and it's something that's never spoken about at school and my experience has been that the majority of gay people were bullied at school so for something like Home and Away to actually have some positive content just would have contributed enormously to their well-being," she said.

A Melbourne lawyer... said she believed a minority of conservative voices were being given an undue level of influence over what was being screened... She said she was worried what kind of message the decision to censor the kiss would send to Home and Away's young audience.

The lesbian relationship follows a kiss between two schoolgirls on the program last month that seemed to escape the controversy surrounding tonight's episode.
